Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Indeed a very pleasant surprise
Review: I picked up the book without expecting much. And I was pleasantly surprised by the story. Although at points I find the storyline to be slightly tenuous, but the book is nevertheless an excellent reading. Contrary to my previous book, Archangel by Robert Harris, which has a wonderful start but a less-than-perfect development and ending, this has a mysterious beginning and a suspense that lasts until the end without disappointing me.

The book also distinguishes itself from other thrillers is the fact that it deals with art. Not that it is a book where one would advance his/her knowledge in art, but it does represent a nice different touch.

I recommend the book highly.
