Summary: Bad copy of Warren B. Murphy themes
Review: Although it could have been a great yarn, the main character Michael Walker is abosultely unbelievable. How can a person who has been trained by the Army as a sniper, ergo for so-called black ops, be so uneffective and stupid!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best new thriller on the market!
Review: I read thrillers like I breathe air and this one is by far one of the best I have ever read. I got ahold of an advance copy and couldn't believe my luck. Robert Rice's writing is fresh and his characters, especially hero (or rather anti-hero) Michael Walker, are a bit Everyman and altogether sympathetic. The technology, which ten years ago was unbelievable and futuristic even five years ago, is all-too-plausible today. This story of a cult, it's plans to bring about the apocalypse, and the poor baby caught in the middle starts fast and never lets up. Plan to have a couple of hours to kill, because you won't put it down.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: Michael Walker hides from the Feds in rural Montana because the vet refuses to be a paid assassin for a secret agency Arm even if his brother is the recruiter and blackmail is the recruiting device. Michael knows he cannot just shoot people.

However, his days of hiding end when his sister Ursula calls. The San Francisco-based attorney has just given birth and believes she is being followed. Although he writes it off as some strange post partum syndrome, Michael travels to California to help his sibling. However, he arrives in time to see two thugs abduct the newborn. While agents of Arm try to shut his file by killing him, Michael traces the kidnapping to a cult in Montana, who also has begun a series of ecological disasters to rival the apocalypse of the bible.

Though no Arthurian legend (see the author's classy THE LAST PENDRAGON), AGENT OF JUDGMENT is an exciting ecological-apocalyptic thriller. The story line is entertaining, taut, yet winks at itself through the characterization. It is the cast that turns this entry into a better than usual end-of-the-world battle between the "saviors" and the "sinners." Though it has been too many years since his last publication, Robert Rice provides readers with a strong thriller that keeps interest from start to finish.

Review: See storyline above.

This is a well written novel that kept me at the edge of my seat. Well rounded with thrills and emotions. When you have cults, mixed with terrorism, during the apocalypse of the new millenium, what more can you expect than pure excitement. Robert Rice delivers. Keep up the good work Robert!

Highly recommended for thrills and adventures.

A rental car without a good credit card? Not likely.

Summary: Gripping Reading!!
Review: The Agent of Judgement is one of the best thrillers -- if not THE best thriller -- I've ever read. I have read it twice now and was just as gripped the second time I read it as the first. Mr. Rice has done an excellent job of weaving the web in such a way as to keep the reader on the edge of his/her seat! Read it, you'll love it. From A GREAT FAN
