Rating: Summary: Another Great Oklahoma Mystery!!! Review: Sara Sue Hoklotubbe's 21 years in the banking industry serves her well in this well developed mystery. Sadie Walela's life is turned upside down when she arrives at her place of employment at the Mercury Savings Bank and encounters a robber. After fleeing with the cash and leaving one of Sadie's co-workers dead, the robber begins a spree of robberies which results in Sadie herself being considered as an accomplice. Even worse is that Happy, a homeless man that she has befriended, is taken into custody as the prime suspect. Not only is this a fast paced mystery, but Ms Hoklotubbe gives us a very clever criminal who has a knack for finding weaknesses in the small banks' security systems. The action starts on page one and doesn't let up.

Rating: Summary: A Clever Mystery Review: You will get a delightful and true picture of Northeast Oklahoma, and a wonderful journey of twists and turns in the interesting life of a Cherokee banker who like many Indian women is the target of racial slurs and sterotypical anti-'business women' treatment. She is fearless; and you will be rooting for her and crying at the tragic loss of some of her co workers. The best part is you will not guess the identity of the protagonist not until the author spells it out to you! I couldn't stop turning the pages, and throughly enjoyed the flavor of Sadie's Cherokee family and perspective of the world. Sadie throws racism, sexism, and stupidity out of her very interesting life.
