Review: this is the third book in the series, but the first one i've read and i can't wait to start at the beginning and read them all (including the new fourth book in hardcover). this is a character-driven mystery with beautifully observed observations, plenty of fascinating characters, a nifty murder mystery and an undercurrent of tolerence. a gem!
