Summary: A slobbering good time!
Review: This was such a fun read, and the characters so likeable, that I cannot wait for the next one! There is so much about this book that I loved - but especially Cruiser and his relationship to Beanie. And to think you get a mystery with all the fun! Strange, but as gruesome as the mystery was, it was lightened considerably by the character's responses and the presence of the hound. Loved it.

Review: While not exactly a deep mystery, Howling Bloody Murder is certain to attract anyone who has ever been owned by a Basset Hound. Sue Owens has presented a nicely balanced tale of mystery and whimsy. Hopefully this will be just the first in a long and entertaining pedigree. Read it with a dog you love!
