Summary: Meet Jack Donne
Review: Deadly Vintage introduces the reader to Jack Donne, former treasury agent, now a partner in the family wine business. He is pulled back into investigation (with some fatherly urging)in order to find out who is counterfeiting wine. Once on the trail, he becomes involved in a nasty family rivalry and some even nastier deaths. A good introduction to a new series. The reader meets Jack Donne and moves to the crime solution at a steady pace. I intend to keep reading this series!!

Summary: Couldn't finish it
Review: The setting was great but the arrogance of the main character, a former BATF agent, was too much to overcome. The plot and dialogue pause too often for paragraphs of telling us how fabulous this guy is and how people dote on him. I kept waiting to be shown why -- and it never happened. I abandoned this book 40 pages before it ended and put it in a free lending library!
