Just Bones: A Mystery

Summary: Riveting! I could not put it down,non-stop reading!
Review: A story line that really held my interest. I was fascinated. The small town atmosphere and attitude were right on the mark. The suspense was built on a gradual pace, and the "evidence" that can be obtained from a coroners investigation is astounding. A social comment from beginning to end as well as an intriguing mystery. I hope "Bill Mullin" will have other cases to investigate. I look forward to his next case.

Review: Denhart's "Just Bones" began as do most mysteries but I was hooked pretty quickly. I truly fell in love with Bill Mullins - the main character. He seemed like someone that we all know - not some detective (actually he is the medical examiner) who knows all of the answers but someone who is just as mystified by the discovery of skeleton's in an abondoned hotel as we the readers are.

While the book takes a few interesting twists and turns - what really drew me in was the wonderful writing - it was a book that made me want to read really slowly and left me wanting more.

I truly hope that Jeffrey Denhart comes out with more books soon. I could easily be persuaded to become a big fan of his.

Review: If you like mysteries chances are you will like this book. Denhart's humor, intelligence, and energy keeps the story, which takes place in Iowa, one of the most involved I've had the pleasure of reading. I like his technique and am watching for the release of his next book ,"By the Neck Until Dead" The Gallows of Nuremberg.

Review: THIS BOOK COULDN'T KEEP THE ATTENTION OF THE MOST PATIENT READER! NOT ONLY WERE THE CHARACTERS DULL BUT THE STORYLINE WAS PREDICTABLE. IT WAS LIKE WAITING FOR THE LAST SHOE TO DROP.
