Summary: Best of the Chant Series
Review: I have read and re-read the chant series over the past ... oh I would say 12 years. Silent Killer is a true work of art for the action/adventure enthusiast and by far is one of my all time favorites.

It begins with "Chant" Sinclair discovering that a close friend of his was tortured and murdered in the most horrific way imaginable. Chant finds that his friend is tortured by no amateur, but by a "torture doctor", an MD that has devoted his life to dealing pain without killing his subjects.

Through his research to exact revenge for his friends death, he finds that the only way to find this "Torture Doctor" is to be captured himself by some of his old enemies. He knows that in being captured, he would have to thwart and frustrate the torture efforts of these enemies so that he would be contracted out to this torture doctor who opperates on an "Island of Terror" where there is no escape.

The plot thickens and twists in ways that will have you cheering and believing that "Chant" truly is an unstoppable human being. His mirrage of smoke and mirrors that he uses to convince his enemies that he is unbeatable in both mind and body spills of the pages to make you a believer as well.

If you are the action/adventure type... Chant, Chant:Silent Killer, and Chant Code of Blood will make you a believer as well.

Read it ASAP and find yourself wishing that Mr. Chesbro would write more and more and more and more.... PLEASE WE NEED MORE CHANT... Early years, wartime, etc...
