Rating: Summary: Gotta be careful on the farm... Review: *Dead in the Hay* is the seventh book in the Amanda Hazard-Thorn mystery series by Connie Feddersen. By now, Hazard and Nick Thorn, Vamoose's sexy police chief, have tied the knot and have just arrived home after a relaxing honeymoon. Unfortunately, it doesn't take long for Hazard-Thorn to get into trouble with the latest dead body.Amanda receives a phone call from overbearing Harv Renshaw, a local farmer and retired career military man. He demands that she visit him at his farm PDQ (pretty darn quick), and Amanda obliges, though grudgingly. Upon arrival at Renshaw's farm, she discovers him dead in the hay. Amanda realizes this death must be foul play, and she launches a tremendous investigation to find the killer. I can't say enough how much I enjoy the Amanda Hazard series! Can't wait to read *Dead in the Pumpkin Patch* next.

Rating: Summary: Dead in the Hay is dead on! Review: This is another installment in the sleuthing career of Amanda Hazard. As always this book contains the great combination of romance, humor, and the mystery of how the mean nasty person died. They sure grow them mean out there. I am always waiting for a new book in the series and this one is a good one.
