Miss Seeton Sings

Summary: Hilarious as always! A funnier version of Miss Marple.
Review: This book is one of the many stories I have read by Heron Carvic! His style is unique and his characters are well...excellent, they foil each other very well. My next favourite character is Bob Ranger who stumbles about trying desparately to protect Miss Seeton but never quite makes it until the very last moment. The one scene that sticks out in my mind occurs during the final dance act at the end of the book where Miss Seeton ends up in the spotlight instead of the dead body and the audience loves it! The French production crew love it too and use it for the rest of their season. Moments such as that are Classic Carvic!

I have to admit that I read this book a few years ago and I can't comment too much on the content, but I absolutely adore the Miss Seeton series and I am disappointed to learn that they are not being printed any more. If I had enough money, I would buy the whole series, even in hardback, but I'll just have to keep looking around in charity shops and used book stores.
