Summary: Jasminium - A Tale of Soul Mates
Review: A crisp writing style, excellent character development, and riveting story combine to make Jasminium a great read. Luckett weaves an adventure tale within a study of interpersonal relationships that is both engaging and completely credible. The lives of Taj and Cheyenne, and their shared experience of long ago, are brought to life in Luckett's unflinchingly honest yet well crafted writing style. After reading this book, it is easy to understand the growing buzz concerning Jonathan Luckett as an emerging talent. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: Jasminium
Review: From start to finish I loved this book. Taj and Cheyenne were very believable characters. Jonathan's style of writing in this book gives the reader just enough information about the primary characters to make you want to turn the page to find out more. It was for me a special kind of love story that had such a dramatic beginning. If you enjoy drama with a little bit of crazy thrown in you will enjoy reading this book.

Summary: Days gone by......
Review: Happen to meet J. Luckett at a street festival in Baltimore peddling his wares. Found Jasminium to be reflective, erotic, teasing prose. A deceptively easy read yet leaving the reader asking, "Why?"

Summary: Jasminium -"What More Can I Say"-J. M. Alston
Review: I am an avid reader, who found "Jasminium" intriguing. The story line had many unexpected twists and turns that kept you motivated to reach the end of the book. It also had some very unforgettable characters, one in particular that still haunts me. To say the author's vivid description of this character was the definition of "pure-evil" is quite accurate. Cheyenne and Taj's characters have developed from their experiences and the author expertly tells the story why. I effortlessly read the book in two days. It's one that I would go back and read again.

Summary: Great Read!!!!
Review: I just finished reading Jasminium and I really enjoyed it! I had not heard of the author before I happened upon his books at Reprint Books in Washington, D.C. I really enjoyed the story! Ohhhhh, the suspense about killed me a couple of times when I wanted to skip ahead to find out what the connection was between Taj and Cheyenne. But, I reeled myself in and read on! WOW! There was everything in the story! If I were to describe this book to someone, I would tell them that it was a suspense, thriller, love story, drama. I loved it! And based upon the ending, one can only wonder if a sequel is in the works. I bought "How Ya Livin" at the same time i got Jasminium and I'm reading it right now! Also, a great read!

Summary: haunting yet hopeful!
Review: i was a little nervous about the novel after reading the synopsis-- i worried that it would be too heavy for my fragile, summer vacation mind set. but i took the plunge, and it paid off! luckett is skillful and intelligent with his use of language in telling this haunting yet hopeful story of a tragedy, a reunion, and an opportunity to explore the "what if" behind a relationship that was forged in an impossible situation. i was somehow able to condone the (inevitable) union of the two main characters, so much so that i was actually pushing for it toward the end of the book. and i still can't get the image of the villain (what was his problem exactly??!!) out of my mind. that jamaican accent-- very haunting; yet, the story is somehow hopeful, and i was glad to know that two people could go back and "finish business" and still return to their everyday lives and responsibilities. luckett is a skillful scribe!

Summary: A thriller that kept you turning the pages
Review: Jasminium an excellent read that kept me glued to the pages until I finished. The story of Taj and Cheyenne was an unforgettable story of soulmates and explored how a tragic event can alter the lives of two people and connect them forever. Jonathan has mastered the art of story telling. His language is colorful and vivid. It makes you feel as if you are sitting on the sideline as the story is unfolding. I hope to see these characters reappear in another novel.
