Summary: Fast paced thriller!
Review: A good bet for your money. It was an action packed page turner. Highly recommend.

Summary: Haunted me so much I had to pick it up again!
Review: I began to read this novel yesterday. After getting through half of it, I stopped to do assorted chores around my home. I hurried to finish my work to pick the book up again! It drew me in as I began to read. Great buy!

Summary: A thoroughly enjoyable read
Review: I read Stephen Kyle's book over my holidays, and would recommend it highly as a thrilling read. I had a difficult time putting it down once I started it, and found that Kyle's knack for drawing his reader into the character's psyches was superb. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys "what if" novels and who is looking for a fun and exciting read.

Summary: Great Book!!
Review: I was a bit skeptical about reading this book because I had never heard of the Author. I was pleasantly suprised!! I read many new authors of Thrillers, and this is by far the best new Author I have come across. I could not put it down, and the plots just kept twisting until the last page. I do not understand some of the negative comments on this book. I thought it was a very polished read. I highly recommend this book! I can't wait for more from Kyle!!

Summary: The End Justifies the Means
Review: If an author's job is to get his reader to react, then Mr. Kyle has been extremely successful. There are two stories here. One, of incredible terrorism, that gets you into the book and two of "the end justifies the means" that gets your blood boiling. It is the latter that made me want to throw my computer(I had the e-book version) against the wall, because I disagree with the idea of negotiating at the point of a gun. In any case, it was an ejoyable read, which is what one wants out of a good book.

Summary: Worst book ever, almost
Review: The back of this book made me think it would be a good read, and it seemed that might be the case, then the real story started. expecting a fast paced story I got a lot of politicts that never really amounted to anything. If the main character would have been smart he would have helped the FBI from the begining. The characters in the story were stupid, they didnt make you want to like them, they were arogant with themselves. I wasted 6 bucks on this book. The forced love affair by a few of the main characters still eludes me. Garbage.

Summary: Starts off Great, slows down, speeds up, slows down etc...
Review: The catch phrase for this book sounded great. "Can the world's deadliest virus... save mankind?" Yes, I'm a sad person for falling into such a simple marketing trick. But I'm glad I did. Although clichéd (Specially the beggining in the middle of the jungle... I'm brazillian, so I was kind of insulted those stereotypes.), This story is very well written, and the characters are strong. The plague scenes are described to the utmost detail, so this is not a book for people that dislike this sort of "gross" scenes.

So what's this HUGE threat that this virus is supposed to save? Well, I won't spoil it for you (You'll find out by the 70th page or so) but it's not as intriguing as you might think. As I said in the title of this review, the action isn't very consistent, sometimes the story slows down to a turtle pace, and the action speeds up in less then a page. It's very unpredictable and that's both good and bad.

Overall, If you dig medical thrillers, or disease-related-novels (The Hot zone, for an example) in general, you should pick this up. It's definately worth your time and money.

Summary: A GREAT READ!
Review: This book is a definite page turner. I found the information about viral diseases pertinent but not overwhelming . . . the characters well drawn . . . and the message of a world threatened by over population thought-provoking. Whatever happened to the zero population growth banner of the late 60's, anyway? Well worth the cover price, "Beyond Recall" entertained from cover to cover and is very readable, evoking vivid visuals. I look forward to Stephen Kyles next book!
