Summary: Judgment of the Wolves
Review: I am a retired librarian and found this novel to be one of the most intriguing novels I have ever read. The book is based on a man named David who speaks as a prophet and is tried in court for mental incompetency for his beliefs. This book will hold your interest from page 1 until the fantastic ending. It's factual yet fiction. I didn't want to put it down, and I was sad when it was over, because I enjoyed it so much. Looking forward to another book by the author Joseph Taraska.

Summary: Judgment of Ourselves
Review: I read the other reviews and agree with all who placed this book in the "best read" column. However, my take on the book takes on a different perspective. Mr. Taraska takes us beyond ourselves. As one who cherishes stories of recovery, this book should be required reading for all those who struggle with addictions of any sort and those who continue to work toward their own recovery. Bravo! I look forward to Mr. Traska's next book.

Summary: Judment of the Wolves
Review: If you have read and enjoyed the writings of John Grisham, James Patterson and Catherine Coulter, you'll love Judgment of the Wolves. I could not put it down. It's a very fast paced novel that keeps you quessing thoughtout the book. I loved the characters and style of writing. The story line is fantastic, and very accurate in detail. I can't wait until his second novel comes out. Mr. Taraska, keep on writing. I love it!

Summary: A good read, and I do not read that much.
Review: Jason Montgomery, a talented lawyer, is facing the gaps in his own existence while looking at life through the eyes of a pro-bono client, self-proclaimed God messenger.

David, his client, is temporarily committed to a mental ward awaiting the outcome of the pivotal case that Jason is representing him in. David's fate seems to rest in Jason's hands yet Jason's feels his own fate resting in the hands of his "messenger" client.

The spiritual, emotional, and professional struggles presented to the characters of Joseph Taraska's "Judgment of the Wolves" are compelling and insightful.

I have to admit, I was very intrigued by the amazing courtroom tactics presented, while constantly wondering what the next turn of events would be...

I am not a reader, and this book kept me glued. A great gift for a thinker, while the heartstrings get their play.

Summary: Book Club Review
Review: Our Book Club choose this book for our December meeting, and we all enjoyed the book. It prompted many very thought provoking and interesting discussions. The book was not only an easy read, but an extremely interesting one.

We all agreed we will look forward to the next novel by Joe. The spiritual message said something to all of us, no matter what beliefs we held.

Summary: ON TRIAL
Review: What a great fast paced read! This is a great legal thriller that questions the message of God and Jesus. Benm who usually only defends rich clients, agrees to take a pro bono case for David who allegedly has the spirit of Jesus in him. A wonderful way to show God's message through legal terms. Highly recommend!

Summary: keeps you wanting to turn page after page
Review: Why are our churches, syagogues, and mosques filled with people who have no trouble believing that God has sent messengers among us to lead us to the light, but these same people will scoff at the thought that the same God will send a messenger now. That is the basis for an excellent well thought out and intellengently written book by new author Joseph Taraska. Judgement of the Wolves will intrigue even the most die hard court room fan. The writing is well balanced. A good read and I hope to see more from this writer soon.
