Review: Excellent.Could not put the book down. Everyday, looked forward to reading By Alias Blood. Sent copies to friends and to relatives. All say the same-excellent reading. The author,Bing Michael, did a great job creating his characters, especially Rocco.

Summary: An Exceptional Adventure Tale
Review: I love adventure novels and this one is a real winner. My favorite authors are Wilbur Smith, Patrick O'brian and John McDonald. Bing Michaels' "By Alia's Blood" puts Mr. Michaels into that rich mix. His tale takes place in south Florida and the islands of the Bahamas and Tortugas, a part of paradise that Michael apparently knows well.

The tale itself stops only for a breath or two, yanking you along with it. The characters are somewhat bigger-than-life, but still plenty believable.

This is not just a man's adventure. There is much in "By Alia's Blood" for the ladies, too. My wife, who normally doesn't read "men's" adventures, thoroughly enjoyed this one and went through it with barely a pause. This one comes highly recommended.

Review: I spent my Memorial Day weekend with Serena and Craig.That was not my intention but I was whisked away by Bing Michael's characters. What a good read ! I want to know where they are now and how they are doing... I felt this novel and the characters within. I did not want it to end...

Summary: Best adventure book in years.
Review: Mr. Michael's writing is superior and his "first life" as a seaman provided a rich background for his spy/thriller/sea adventure/romance book. His book has all the ingredients of a really good read. Even those of us who aren't familiar with boats will be able to understand the dimensions of his nautical expertise. His scenes are vivid and the character depictions are boldly written. You will want to read straight through from start to finish. I heartily recommend it to anyone who loves sea adventure. Just don't plan to get anything else done until you finish the book.

Like a good movie, you feel as if you are there...on the edge of your seat, reading as fast as you can to keep up with the action. Mr. Michael obviously knows sailing and what the seas can conjure up. His characters are real and his story is excellent. I am looking forward to his next novel...it is certainly on my wish list.
