Rating: Summary: Not Up To Par Review: I thought this was going to be another Mackay mystery/thriller. Had I known the bulk of the "story" would be a trial, I could've saved myself the money and logged onto CourtTV.com.More emphasis should've been placed on the actual story rather than the trial, but either way, anyone who hadn't read previous installments would've been left wondering about too many things. And there were way too many pages of filler, explaining all the legal terms and jargon used throughout the book. If that much space had to be spent on explaining what was being said, then perhaps the author should've found other ways to say it. And, based on the Epilogue, it looks like we're in for yet another installment in which you really need to have read the previous installments to get the point. Very disappointing from a series that's usually worth the money.
Rating: Summary: Another Good Installment Review: This was another great book in the series. However, I think it is about time to close up to finish up the current storyline because new readers to the series will be totally lost. For those of us who have read all of the books its great. I was hooked from the middle of the book and couldn't put it down until I finished it.
Rating: Summary: GREAT Legal Thriller! Review: Until the Final Verdict is suspenseful, intense, very tightly written, and takes the reader on a unique twist in the search for justice. Christine McGuire, a successful prosecutor, writes legal-mystery thrillers like better-known wannabes only wish they could. Also, try the earlier novels in her UNTIL series.
