This is a wonderful novel that combines elements of both mysteries and thrillers. The main character is very compelling, and the world of musicology in which the book is set is fascinating. I found myself always reading 'just one more chapter' and finished the book in two days.
Highly recommended to anyone who likes intelligent mysteries with real attention to characterization as well as plot!
