Summary: My fave yet
Review: This is the first book by Agatha Christie that I had ever read, but it is still my favorite after reading countless others. I really couldn't put it down, and it has an exciting and suspenseful twist. I love the plot and it never bored me. It's a must read if you like classic mysteries and an unpredictable ending!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: More than clever.
Review: This was the very first Agatha Christie book that I read...and it was certainly thougth-provoking and impressing. Although I regret reading this particular book first (because it's a conclusion of sorts), I still learned much from it. I realized what a phenominal character Poirot really was. His tact, wit, heart, and mind amaze me. His death is truly surprising as well. This was a classic book, not only because of its plot, but also its lessons. We can learn much from Poirot, even from Hastings. There is greatness in them both. Christie is very talented, and it funny how she makes the reader feel like Hastings - rather bumbly at times but valuable just the same.

Summary: You know, you just know!
Review: You must not read this book until you have read every M. Poirot tale, every one! It is a masterfully written and well thought out story. Christie at her finest! Poirot at his finest! I made the mistake of reading this before I made sure I read all of Poirots mysteries. The story is told by Hastings, Poirots greatest friend, the one without the "little grey cells". I picked this book up and it wasn't set down until I got to the end. I wish there were an author who still wrote like Agatha Christie. I dread the day that I find out I've read all she has ever written! Cherish this tale, and lend it to no one when you are done, it is a keeper!!!
