Summary: An OK book
Review: Although I usually see the worst of books wonderful because of some inherent habit of being positive, but no matter how I look at this book, I am sorry to say I can not call it excellent. Some stories are very interesting and offer a lot of new information but many of the stories are dull, pointless and divert from the topic which is a legal thriller. I guess this book can be called a good book if some of the stories were deleted or made more suspenseful or interesting.

Summary: LET'S GO FISHING
Review: Everyone needs a vacation every now and again. Nameless is no exception as he escapes from the memory of his ex-partner's suicide and goes off to a mountain resort for rejuvination. Peace, quiet and solitude is just what he needs!

Revenge, payback and hatred is what another vactioner desires as he plots the demise of all those who made him suffer when imprisoned. He too, desires the solitude needed to hatch his murderous plot. When he and Nameless encounter one another an explosive adventure begins leading both into mayhem.

Pronzini takes us into the mind of a mad man whose psychosis keeps Nameless on the edge. Allow yourself to be intrigued and put on the edge by another exciting thriller in the Nameless series. Let's go fishing with Nameless.

Summary: I admit it. I read it
Review: This collection of short stories is written by some of the best legal thriller writers around and Scott Turow edits the book. Unfortunately most of the stories are formulaic and very predictable. The book is good as a tool to discover authors one might have never read and hopefully finds one who is a great novelist. The best stories in this collection is Marcia Muller's Sharon McCone case KNIVES AT MIDNIGHT and the underrated master of the mystery short story Ed Gorman with THAT DAY AT EAGLE'S POINT.
