Review: Thriller fans have grown so accustomed to to formulaic plots and characterizations that they may find the Alexander Hawke series takes some getting used to. But once they "get it" they will be as enthralled and enchanted as this reader was. True, the books take chances, but the risks pay off in books that, as one astute reviewer said, "redefine the modern thriller". Well worth your time and money. I would suggust you read this one first, then go back and read the first of the series called Hawke. I could not possibly recommend a book, any book, more strongly.
