Summary: Another great romantic suspense!
Review: Once again, Randall Ingermanson had me on the edge of my seat with his newest romantic suspense novel. His opening line, "Keryn Wills was in the shower when she figured out how to kill Josh Trenton." compelled me to read more. The cast of main characters comes from varied backgrounds that interweave in surprising ways, and I nearly forgot these were fictional people. They seemed so real that I found myself wanting to call some of them.

Dillon Richards, one of the main characters, is a brilliant engineer with Asperger's Syndrome, a mild form of autism. Ingermanson did a superb job of helping me understand what it might be like to be autistic. He also helps remove the stigma often attached to the condition by portraying Dillon as a person with real thoughts, concerns, and feelings. The supporting characters are colorful and entertaining without interfering with the story line.

Ingermanson explains the quantum tech ideas about computers so well that even a non-techie who failed physics (like me) understood the premise. The last 2/3 of the book kept me up way past my bedtime four nights in a row. The twists and turns held me in suspense, because every time I thought Keryn, Rachel, and Dillon were safe, they ended up in danger again.

His tagline on the back cover says it all. "Three secrets. Two women. One man. NO time." I thoroughly enjoyed his time-travel historical fiction books, Transgression, Premonition, and Retribution, and I look forward to his next book, whether it's contemporary or historical.

Summary: Read It!
Review: Before I started reading Double Vision, a friend told me that it would "mess with your mind." Oh, yes. One universe . . . or an infinite number of universes? One girl . . . or two? Bad guys . . . or good guys? And which is which? Ingermanson leads you on a mind-boggling tour through the unexpected, but he never loses sight of the real heart and soul of the story, the people involved. Read it!

Summary: Double Vision - a new twist for Ingermanson
Review: Double Vision took me by surprise. All of Ingermanson's other books have grabbed me from the very beginning. Double Vision's opening sentence certainly grabbed me, but the book proceeded slowly from there until about the middle where it accelerated to almost warp speed. The plot is a great one; however character development is not as strong as his other novels. I found it difficult to believe in the characters and was conscious they were characters...not the "real people" of his other books. All that said, it's still a good read and worth the purchase - this is Ingermanson's first adventure in humorous romantic suspense - I await his next book!

Summary: Double Vision is one book you won't be able to put down!
Review: I just finished the book. It was so good I can't quite find the right word to describe it. Several come to mind; magnificent, wonderful, touching, gripping, suspenseful. I can't settle on one word. It has got to be one of the best books I have ever read, I was crying in several places. God has really blessed Randall Ingermanson with a wonderful gift; he can touch people's hearts and give them God's message in a way that is kind and compassionate. I got a blessing reading this book, especially the church camp part (one of the crying parts). I pray God keeps blessing his writing so that it touches hearts and minds. People are crazy if they don't read this book; it's a masterpiece.

Summary: DOUBLE VISION will trap you in a web of intrigue
Review: Ingermanson draws his characters so well and with such speed, you are pulled into the web he is simultaneously spinning before you realize what's happening. The Spider has struck again.

After that, you might as well cancel any plans because DOUBLE VISION triples your need to read. This book is one of the best page turners I've enjoyed. Plus, it felt cool to read about quantum computers in a way that made me actually think I had an inkling. . . .

From the paranoia of Big Brother, to "what in the world is she wearing?" as two intelligent women battle over the affection of one of the sweetest and most brilliant men you will ever meet between the pages of a book, "Spider" Ingermanson weaves his spell and you are caught. Happily.

Summary: A Can't Put It Down Read
Review: Mix a Quantum computer project that could blow open the world's encryption programs, a love triangle with no clear answer for a befuddled genius engineer, and a plot that builds momentum to an exciting--and satisfying--ending. You won't be disappointed. Order it and see!

Summary: Good book to curl up with
Review: Rachel Myers, a biophysicist-whose appearance and personality shatter the image of the stereotypical biophysicist-has developed a quantum computer worth billions-if it works. Dillon Richard is a brilliant, but socially isolated engineer, who is a whiz at writing complex computer code. Keryn Willis is a part time CFO and mystery writer who is intimidated by Rachel's looks and infuriated with Rachel's attention to Dillon. All three work for a start up tech company, CypherQuanta, that is about to go under. The future of the company rests on Rachel's quantum computer and Dillon's code writing skills. At stake is a new kind of encryption software that will render the current encryption software, relied on by businesses and people worldwide, obsolete. All three, plus Grant O'Connell, company founder, and Clifton Potter, Chief Technology Officer, will make billions from this breakthrough. Providing they live long enough to produce it.
Whispers float around the outside world about CypherQuanta, and many people are interested in the technology for themselves, and think nothing of using whatever means necessary to get their way.
Double Vision is full of plot twists and turns. When you are sure you know who is behind the phone calls, threats, thefts, and kidnappings, you turn the page and realize you were wrong. Again.
Mr. Ingermanson's use of quantum mechanics wasn't overwhelming to this seriously science-challenged reader. The love triangle between Keryn, Dillon, and Rachel keeps this book from becoming science heavy.
A good book to curl up with and one that I would pass on to friends and family.

Summary: Great Edge-of-Your-Seat Story!
Review: Randy Ingermanson is a master at characters who stick with you and a plot that has so many twists and turns you have no idea how it is going to end until it does end. Like another reviewer said, I especially found myself engaged with Dillon Richard, a brilliant man who has Asperger Syndrome. Dillon may be smart beyond smart, but he loves the Lord and wants nothing more than to live right for him, even if it means his life in exchange. Dillon has a problem most men would die for. Two women are in love with him. I won't say how it turns out, but I found the ending to be very pleasing. Order this book now. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Sheesh! What a fun and wild ride!
Review: This book kept my head spinning with all it's twists and turns until the very last page. A romantic thriller filled with suspense and humor, Ingermanson's Double Vision is not to be missed! I especially loved the character Dillon, and the sections written from his point of view. Because of Dillon's Asperger's Syndrome, he is a very unique and engaging character--certainly unlike any character I have read about before. If you want a novel that will thrill you 'till the end, buy a copy of Double Vision today!

Summary: Read it even if you're not a physics genius....
Review: When you get this book, prepare to read it in one sitting! This story stands out especially because of the hero, Dillon. He's different than most people, but Randy writes him so well,it's easy to get inside his head as the story moves along. The story line is as timely as any near-future newspaper headline. The humor in the book was perfectly paced and provides a great breather from the roller coaster suspense scenes. Randy has proved himself to be one of our best contemporary suspense writers. Keep 'em coming, Randy!
