Review: This novel is first-rate. Reich spins a captivating tale of a German Olympic runner and a New York detective caught up in a web of intrigue and revenge in the period immediately following the fall of Germanay and the end of the Second World War. Devlin Judge is part of an international tribunal to try Nazi war criminals. He sets out to capture Eric Seyss who has escaped from a POW camp. But Seyss, a former Olympic sprinter, has one last mission to accomplish for the Fatherland. This mission is part of a conspiracy that reaches into the upper echelons of the American army.
