Rating: Summary: Change of pace Review: Carol Ashton is recovering from wounds she received in another case, so, to give her a chance to recover, she is assigned to be a body guard. The mystery now is who is trying to kill her assignment. Ashton also finds herself tempted by the woman she is guarding. Is this the end of her relationship with Sibyl? Read and find out.
Rating: Summary: Bleech Review: I'm conflicted. I will have to go to the library and borrow some of the other Carol Ashton mysteries. I get the feeling I might like her. However, in this book, I hate the woman she is guarding so much that I put the book down. What a witch. Within a page of meeting Marla Strickland, I wanted to kill her, despite agreeing with some of her opinions. I mean really, one of your office workers is killed by a letter bomb and you don't care? You meet the woman who is your bodyguard and the first thing you say to her is "you don't look like a dyke"? What is wrong with this picture? Bleech.
