Rating: Summary: Easily The Worst Comic Book I've Ever Read Review: SpyBoy, on the outside, seems like a unique and clever comic book. "It's a spy! Who's a KID!" While this premise had so much potential, it is wasted due to the incredibly cheesy character names ("Ida Jury", "Bombshell") and the ridiculous acronyms used to denote the warring factions of spies, S.H.I.R.T.S. and S.K.I.N.S. The characters are flat and one-dimensional, the plot zooms from one testosterone-laden explosion/sexual theme to another, and the art is laughable, especially in one issue where they used a completely different artist!I also dislike the characters, as they are all stereotypes ripped from other comic books. Bombshell is a teenage blonde with an "attitude" she is apparantly only able to convey through her rudeness and tastless choice of clothes. This book is packed with sexual innuendo, far too much for the young audience it LOOKS like it should be for. I really disliked this comic book. The laughable plot, easily forgotten characters, and lines that are meant to be funny just fell flat. It is not worth buying.
Rating: Summary: Enter Spyboy... Review: The second collection in comics in a really great line. Spyboy is just incredibly easy to fall in love with and has something for everyone to enjoy. The art is fantastic, the plot is pretty damn good and there's a fair amount and humor and adult humor to make it a really great read over and over. This volume contains Spyboy's adventures against Judge and Jury and you find out a bit about Alex Fleming, Spyboy's alter ego and Bombshell, not to mention thier semi sidekick Bruce. It's a hilarious read and the characters are loveable. Buy it and love it.
