Rating: Summary: Spiritual Warfare at Harvard Review: This is a terrific book written in the style of Frank Peretti's "This Present Darkness." Claire is a student at Harvard, struggling to defend her faith in classes where the professors discriminate against Christians. She gets involved with a project that is trying to uncover the Christian roots of the university and learns basics in apologetics along the way.I was fascinated by this book and couldn't put it down. I loved the way the author presented some basic arguments for defending Christian principles against the theories of evolution, humanism and secularism. As well, it was fascinating to read the "Behind the scenes" accounts of the spirit realm. Obviously the author took some liberties in describing angels and demons but it makes for a compelling story. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is thinking of attending a secular university or someone who just wants to know how to argue issues from a Christian perspective.
Rating: Summary: Good plot, but young writing Review: This was a good book, but after Frank Peretti, most other spiritual warfare books are only second best compared to him. But I liked the way it was written. This book, in my most humble opinion, shows how society can and will view us as Christians. Now, not everyone out there who isn't a Christian is going to judge, but there are people like the ones in this book in the world. All in all it is an excellent book, but until it matches up to Peretti's standards, it isn't getting my 5 stars. Awesome effort! I do hope to read more from this author.
