Summary: Disappointing...
Review: Norfleet has assembled an interesting variety of photographs; however, her commentary is scant and superficial. Serious students of social history and of mourning art, in particular, are far better served by Jay Ruby's comprehensive work, _Secure the Shadow: Death and Photography in America_.

Summary: ASTONISHING!
Review: This book is perhaps one of the very best which deals with the subject of death. It is beautifully printed by Godine, as are all their photographic books. I cannot believe it took ten years to discover its existence and availability. Highly recommended!

Summary: A Beautiful Slideshow about The Final Destination
Review: This book is well organized and it not only relfects real life moments, but also some photographs of death scenes from various theatrical plays. It has some violent photographs but they reflect purity and their own stories. Death is the final destination and this unique collection gives us a chance to own different perspectives.
