Rating: Summary: JUST AWESOME!!!! Review: I enjoy ANY novel written by Darrin Lowery-Smith. All of his novels are written with intelligence and class. Down Low Double life is a MUST READ!! It is thought provoking and makes you aware of the lies and deceitfulness that you may not have otherwise even considered in relationships. Please make sure to pick up other titles by this extremely talented author. AWESOME!!!

Rating: Summary: Can't put it down! Review: I haven't even finished the book yet and I have to admit it is a really good read. The wedding scene in the beginning is funny, entertaining and has a ton of drama in it. I was all smiles as I read the first few chapters. This book is about a man that takes his woman for granted. It has some serious life lessons, some hysterically funny dialogue between characters (it reminds me of me and my boys and how we talk) and the love scenes, man this brother is doing it! This is a great weekend read. I am three quarters finished and I am really upset that it has to end. I'm looking for a sequel! I would love to see some of the lesser characters with their own story, especially Wanda, Sonja and Yvonne!
Rating: Summary: Very Well Worth It Review: I really enjoyed this book and only bought after reading reviews on it. It was a book the was good all around he said he didnt have an editor so there were a few mistakes but you dont notice because the story line covers that up
Rating: Summary: marriage and infidelity Review: I really enjoyed this novel, found it very insightful about the love relationship between men and women. It's basically about the typical guy's temptation to be "unfaithful" to his "significant other" when things are not going so well, but instead of giving us the typical predictable and amoral adultery story, the author also shows us the negative effects of infidelity and just WHY fidelity is so important to keeping a relationship from falling apart. Engaging writing style, insightful psychology, good characters, great theme.
Rating: Summary: Could Not Put This One Down Review: I will start out first with saying the typos throughout the book caught me off guard but that was the only pitfall. The author explains the typos at the end of the book.
D.L. Smith deserves to have a publishers backing. I read this book in 4 days. I loved the detail description of the wedding (the first scene of the book) and all the other events that happen throughout the book. Both sexes are represented well throughout the book. Characters are almost real. Now I am buying one for my friend.
Rating: Summary: This Joint is HOT! Review: This book had drama from the first page on. There are a number of different scenarios that make you question what the opposite sex is thinking. With each chapter I placed myself in the main characters position and asked myself, "What would I do if faced with this problem?" As a guy, it made me think about what I have at home and how lucky I am. Just like the main character in this book, I was taking my girl for granted. Sometimes it takes seeing someone else go though this before we see it. The book reminds men in particular, that if you have a good woman at home, you need to stick with her. Sometimes there are better looking women out there, but behind the makeup sometimes...there are some major issues. If you are thinking about cheating on your girl, this book will make you think twice. Sometimes, you only get one shot at love.
Rating: Summary: Refreshing! Review: This book is a refreshing weekend read as it moves so smoothly through the lives of the characters. Nothing could stop me from moving through those pages! It has it all...drama, suspense, love, turmoil, and so much more. These characters reflect our lives, our woes, our losses, our regrets, our joys, our true loves, and every other real human emotion. This is a pick me up and crawl in bed to read book! Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Love and Marriage Review: This book was a great read. It makes you think about what a man goes through when he cheats on his soul mate. You will ask the question, how could you cheat on someone you are in love with. Well this book answers the questions for a lot of women. It has nothing to do with love. It's all about lust. And once you get it, you can't always make a clean break, which was the case. Men you never know what's behind the pretty face. Not only did the main character have a pretty wife and a damn good women at home, his weakness got the best of him. Over all the book was a good read, the ending could have been a little stronger, which could leave an opening for a sequel.
Rating: Summary: VERY ENCOURAGING Review: This book was marketed with "On the Down Low," which caused me to expect something of the E. Lynn Harris variety. Instead it was a well written story that was engaging, light hearted, realistic, and smooth. The author's note was also very encouraging to the aspiring writer.
