Summary: Thrilling from start to finish
Review: I could not put this book down. The twist at the end was totally unexpected. I liked the fact that the characters didn't fight too long and hard about their feelings for each other. This book is definately a keeper!!

Summary: Great Sequel
Review: In Dangerous Games, the sequel to Dangerous Ground, Justine Dare proves once again that she is a master at romantic suspense.

After Jess & Beth's wedding, Lake MacGregor sets off to find Joplin, the man out to kill the WolfPack. Fate finds him back in his old hometown, the same town that he left twenty-five years earlier after he murdered his own brother.

His first day in Jewell, CO he walks past a art gallery and sees a painting that he did when he was 17 years old. There he meets Allison, the art gallery owner. Slowly the two fall in love, all the while Joplin is out there watching and waiting to make his move.

Can Lake forgive himself for the sins he's made in the past? Can Allison and Lake truly find peace together?

Although I did like Dangerous Ground better, Dangerous Games is a highly suspenseful, entertaining sequel. I just wish we heard more about my favorites, Jess and Beth.

Summary: I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN!!!
Review: In Dare's DANGEROUS GROUNDS, we were introduced to the WOLF pack, a unit consisting of four deadly men, of which only two are still alive, used ten years ago by the government to accomplish the impossible. At the end of this also fabulous book, we met the deadliest of the four; the assassin code-named the Gray Wolf, Lake McGregor. In DANGEROUS GAMES, he is once again on the hunt going after a dangerous enemy from the past. The chase leads him back home to Jewel, CO, a place filled with horrible and painful memories. There he meets Alison Carlyle, the owner of the local art gallery, where one of his paintings from his youth is now being displayed. At first, he is furious to have something so private being displayed, but then he realizes it's the best way to announce his arrival to Joplin, the deadly killer he seeks. Lake, however, doesn't count on falling for Alison, whose strength and beauty, stir up emotions he thought once dead, complicating his deadly plan to kill Joplin or be killed.

DANGEROUS GAMES is a fast-paced story filled with secrets, tragedy, murder, suspense, gut wrenching emotion, and a passionate love. It is a fantastic sequel to DANGEROUS GROUNDS, the story of the Lone Wolf, the tracker, Jess Harper. They'll keep you at the edge of your seat. I recommend them both. You'll love them. Trust me!

Summary: A well-crafted romantic thriller.
Review: Lake, the Gray Wolf of Dare's WOLF pack, a covert ops group, returns to his home town. Hunting him is one of the villans from DANGEROUS GROUND, but Lake has to face some old demons before he can take care of the new ones. The town of Jewel, CO is holding a grudge for a childhood mistake, and only newcomer, the owner of a local art gallery sees past the outside, with the help of his emotional paintings. This is an intese book, and an edgey thriller, with some very interesting characters. A must-read for suspense fans.

Summary: Thrilling from start to finish
Review: Ms. Dare certainly lived up to my expectations in this follow-up to Dangerous Ground. It was a great read that I couldn't put down. The characters are well developed and the plot keeps you turning the pages. It's too bad she's exhausted the Wolf Pack - I'd love to read another! I simply loved it and would recommend it to anyone who likes a little Tom Clancy with a romance thrown in. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Complex and riveting
Review: Once again, Justine Dare has taken a tormented hero and given him another chance at love. This book deals with the Gray Wolf of the Wolf Pack -- and his story is completely absorbing. What's really nice too are the heroine's self-reliance and independence, and a sweet love story as a second plot line. You care about these people -- and you understand them completely. It's what I enjoy most about JD's writing.

Summary: This one is a keeper!
Review: The prequel to this book appeared on my recommendations list, so I bought both at the same time. I just could not put them down -- and I am definitely glad I had both, because as soon as I finished the first, I had the second one in my hand within a matter of minutes!

Summary: Absolutely awesome and definitely addicting!!
Review: This is the first time I've ever felt it necessary to review a book I've read. Justine Dare has written it so well, that it was totally captivating from the first page to the last. Remember how a soap opera's last scene is made so intense, that you just have to see it the next day to see what happened? This is how Justine's chapters end. I couldn't put the book down until finished reading it. And I will read it again. It was that good :) I graciously thank Amazon for referring it to me.

Summary: A heart-throbbing read
Review: When he read the ad in the Wall St. Journal announcing the death of his father, Lake McGregor knew that very few people understood the code that tied the survivors of the Wolf Pack together. He accounts for everyone except his mortal enemy Joplin. Lake knows he must return to his hometown of Jewel, Colorado that he left two decades ago after murdering his younger brother.

The first thing he sees in Jewel is the painting in the window of the art gallery. He drew it years ago, but cannot understand why it is there. He angrily confronts the gallery owner Alison Carlyle, who swears his father gave it to her. Lake decides to use her gallery as a tool to get Joplin out into the open, but he had not counted on falling in love. He has to keep his beloved safe as he confronts a madman capable of killing as efficiently as the Gray Wolf did when he was an operative over a decade ago. The problem is that Joplin never stopped and his skills are razor sharp.

DANGEROUS GAMES, the sequel to the award winning DANGEROUS GROUND, is going to gain much acclaim for Justine Dare. The fast-paced story line never slows down for a moment as Lake deals with the two incidents that have changed his life: the killing of his brother and his love for Alison. The lead protagonists are a wonderful couple and the villain is as deadly a killer to come along in a novel in a very long time. Ms. Dare has dared to raise the quality level that readers expect from a rousing romantic intrigue novel.
