Summary: not her best
Review: I think Ms. Palfrey didn't describe Audrey in detail so the readers could use their imagination, however I like those details included for me. But it was a interesting story, and does hold your attention. I am a Evelyn Palfrey fan and will most certainly be reading any future books by her.

Summary: Good to last page...
Review: I've just finished reading "Dangerous Dilemmas" and I must say I'm breathless. I feel as if I just closed the page on some of my good friends. I've grown to know and love the characters in each novel. Evelyn, your novels are full of love, suspense and spice. I can't wait for the next novel. Be Blessed!

Summary: weak
Review: If you like Evelyn Palfrey then you will automatically buy this one. If you are a new reader try another Palfrey book instead. This one is weak. The characters are too thin. Everyone is more of a type than a fully described characters. The author uses cliches as a short cut to moving the story along. The situation is contrived. There is too much drama in poor Audrey's life for one short book and the loose ends are not tied up at the extremely unsatisfying end.

Summary: PASSION AND UNDERSTANDING
Review: In DANGEROUS DILEMMAS, Evelyn Palfrey writes effectively about a rarely touched subject, the middle-age woman, her loves and her problems.

At an age when most women go through menopause and think about retirement, Audrey Roberts has to contend with the new knowledge of a homosexual husband and a son accused of murder. If that's not enough, she's also having a "female" medical problem which won't go away.

In steps Kirk Mxwell, a policeman who develops an instant attraction to Audrey. The feeling is mutual. There's just one problem with their relationship and neither sees it coming. When it hits, it causes a DANGEROUS DILEMMA.

This is a heartwarming story of a beautiful, lively middle-aged woman who, because of unforseen, unpleasant circumstances, starts the second charpter of her life amid crisis, but with deep-seeded hope and the potential of true love.

Summary: Enjoyable Read
Review: In Evelyn's latest book we find the life of a strong black woman. Audrey has so much on her plate that it is amazing how she finds time to develop a relationship with Kirk Maxwell.

After visiting her son in jail she comes out to find that her rental car has a flat tire and nothing in the trunk to fix it. After finding her husband with another lover, and tolerating with the attitude of her children she breaks down when she can't fix the tire. In steps Kirk who wants to help Audrey so that she can stop crying. But he doesn't understand why she is crying to hard over a flat tire.

Once they get to know one another there are things that are revealed that may jepordize their blossoming relationship. They must both work hard to focus on each other without letting other outside influences change the way they feel.

Evelyn also tells the story of Kirk's partner Danny and Audrey's best friend MaryBeth which deals with a big age difference.

This is a enjoyable read although there are some things that are left out.

Summary: Enjoyable
Review: In this novel, Palfrey's style of writing has a continuously well-paced cadence to it that lulls you into the lives of the characters. Middle-aged Audrey whose marriage has fallen apart is unable to communicate with her rebellious adult daughter and is willing to put her total assess on the line to prove that her troublesome son is not a murderer. During this turmoil, Audrey meets Maxwell, the man of her dreams, but the relationship is deemed taboo on both ends. What risks do they take in order to pursue this relationship or is it worth any risks at all?

Overall, the book was an easy, straight forward, predictable read.
