Summary: A Very Good Romance
Review: As I have said before mysteries drive me nuts. I can't seem to wait to find out who did it. Ms Jaffe is very clever in that she dosen't wait until the very end to reveal the villian. So you can't flip to the end and find out what is going on. I liked this book mush better than the first in the series. I would recommend the book to those who like a good mystery and even those who are looking to a good romance

Summary: Another Winner!
Review: Crispin Foscari, the Earl of Sandal, has 14 days to clear his name as Queen Elizabeth's master spy or be charged with treason. Sophie Champion is investigating the death of the man who was known to the Ton as her godfather. Their paths meet at the feet of a murdered man who may have had information for them both. Now the notorious Earl of Scandal and the mysterious Siren must combine forces to solve the murder or find themselves arrested.

Once again, Ms. Jaffe has delivered a rousing adventure in the style of Amanda Quick or Stephanie Laurens. Action, adventure, mystery, romance, and humor can all be found within these pages. And some very erotic love scenes. This book and its predecessor, THE STARGAZER, has whet my appetite for more tales of the Arboretti, particularly Lawrence.

Summary: Captivating and Sexy
Review: During the Elizabethan Age, Crispin Foscari and Sophie Champion first meet over a dead body. Crispin is there as an agent of the Queen and Sophie is there because she thinks the dead man is a link to the death of her beloved foster father. Although Sophie is dressed as a man (which allows her to move about the City freely). Crispin immediately sees through her disguise. He is beguiled even though he has been a lover to many, many women. The paths of Sophie and Crispin cross again and again and each time the sexual tension increases. The love scenes in this book are extraordinary and you will probably never look at peach (yes, the fruit) in the same way again. Through many twists, turns and often comedic encounters, Sophie and Crispin each come to the same conclusion which solves the mystery of more than one murder. Crispin plays a number of roles and it is a guess which one he is playing at any given time. I suspect that the author will continue this series with at least one book about the cousins who are introduced late in "The Water Nymph". It is not necessary to read the prequel to " The Water Nymph", which is "The Stargazer", in order to enjoy "The Water Nymph"

Summary: Don't Bother
Review: I don't believe this book even deserves one star! I have to say that this is one of the worst books that I have ever read. I fell asleep within 15 minutes of each reading. It is a great cure for insomnia. The characters are bland and unrealistic. I found myself rereading parts to just keep things straight. The writing jumped all over the place and you don't get much of a consistant flow. I could not get a visual sense of the scenes as they played out. I am very disappointed that I spent good money on this drivel. I gave this book to my dog as a chew toy. If you would like to read something from an exceptional talent, read anything written by Kristin Hannah.

The characters were shallow and unrealistic. I found myself rereading parts just to keep things straight. I could not visualize the settings when reading and I found situations to be hokey. Save your money. If you want to give it a chance, check it out from the library!

Summary: The Water Nymph review
Review: I loved this book. I read all 418 pages in 2 days. Sophie and Crispin made and attracting couple. All the romance with a murder mystery added. This is one book that I will read again and enjoy just as much as I did the first time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: WOW!
Review: I really enjoyed The Stargazer when it came out, so I was really happy when Jaffe continued with the characters in the Water Nymph, mainly Crispin. I loved this book, even more than I did the Stargazer and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys a very hot, steamy, sexy romance. Sophie and Crispin had a wonderful relationship, and at times I would laugh outloud at what they said to one another.
