Summary: Sadly Disappointed...
Review: I am a huge Jennifer Blake fan- and from way back in the day. But when I read this novel I just wanted to put it down- not because I had to go somewhere or do something, but cause it was horrid. The storyline was very slow, the characters unrealistic and very very boring the the dialogue was at times, to say the least, comedic- and not in an entertaining way. And the two characters actually hooking up? No way! The fact that they did get together is somewhat grotesque to me... they are not exactly the most 'appealing' people.

If you're a fan of Blake, you should read the older stuff- i.e. historical romances from the 80's. I am sad to say that her material is getting worse and worse. I don't know if she's not spending the time or effort required to produce the quality that she once did. I have read 99% of the her novels and unfortunately the level of writing quality and storyline complexity is diminishing rapidly.

DO NOT READ THIS BOOK.

If you're interested in something of Blake's, see: Prisoner of Desire or Tigress. I guarantee with those two that you will NOT be disappointed!

Good luck reading:)

Summary: Spare yourself
Review: I gave this book one star based on the fact the heroine is not the usual 22 year old. However, the plot is absolutely ridiculous, the heroine a weakling, and there is just no sense to any of it.

Summary: Very poorly written
Review: I have read several other JB novels but this was by far the worst. The older woman, younger man story line did not bother me so much as the pathetic dialogue and ridiculous story lines and subplots. One of the worst romance novels I have ever read!

Summary: A breath of fresh air.
Review: I thought this book was a breath of fresh air in a genre where younger women are almost always the heroine. I realize the authors are only following a formula but I get so tired of reading about nothing but 18 to 23 year old women. The more mature audience is left to choose from a few morsels when an author decides to steer a little away from the usually formula. In this case it is an older heroine finding romance with a hero who happens to be a younger man. And it is not such a great big age difference to make the story unbelievable. Sure I thought the subplots where somewhat too contrived but then this is fictional romance so what can you expect. I liked the book and definitely recommend it if you are tired of the same old, same old.

Summary: Great romance novel
Review: It was a excellence book and very well written. Blake does a fine job on her skills and makes you feel apart of the story as if you was there. There's no one quite like Jennifer Blake, when it comes to writing Romance novels..

Review: The entire point to this book is stupid. Men like younger women. Not old geezers. And it's the same plot as every other romance novel.. If you are a self respecting woman you won't buy/borrow or even touch this pice of crap.
