Summary: This book does not measure up to Conard County book series
Review: I felt this book was preaching against the death penalty. I don't mind an author having an opinion but I don't like to be preached at during the whole book which I felt she did. I did not like this book at all. I usually buy books by the authors that I like. Rachel Lee was one of these but I will hesitate to purchase her next book. I also did not like the use of foul language in this book. I thought it was unnecessary. In the past her books have made me cry, laugh and just feel good. I had to force myself to finish this book.

Summary: good romance and suspense
Review: I've been a fan of Ms. Lee's for some time now and really like her stories. This one was very good also, even though I figured out the killer about half way through the book. The suspense of getting to the murderer before Mr. Otis was due to die was great. This is a good one, don't miss it.

Summary: Talk show hostess tries to vindicate man she sent to prison.
Review: It has been five years since Carey Justice was a hotshot prosecutor. Now she is the hottest radio talk show hostess. Carey has just found out that one of the men she had helped convict for murder is innocent, and there are three weeks until he is electrocuted. Using the power of the media, she broadcasts a series of shows on the case, and she enlists the help of her former lover, Seamus Rourke. A well written piece of mainstream romantic suspense, Before I Sleep is tight and dramatic. Before I Sleep is a melodrama filled with the sense of impending doom.
