Summary: THE BIG PAYBACK
Review: Another classic book by Donald Goines.Curtis gets pushed to the point of no return, when some Mexicans paralyzed his younger brother. The book was short & I think could have ended with some happy note but that was not the case. The mexicans that injured his brother were killed by cops trying to escape. The only person he did kill was the Mexicans little sister, but that was suppose to be the start of the war. Then Curtis Caught up with Dan (he was the actual reason that the Mexicans jumped his Brother) and Dan didn't go without stabbing Curtis in the back and paralyzing him from the waist down & Curtis would never get out of the vacant building alive. This was a great book but it could have had a few more people getting killed in the war that was going on Donald Goines is a great author.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful, simple wonderful and heart rendering.
Review: Donald Goines is an author before his time. This book is very interesting, as well, as all his other books. Nothing but non stop action. It's hard to put this book down.

Summary: Revenge is what was got
Review: This book was revenge at its best. The ending made my stomach hurt, but the book is very good. You have to really pay attention, or you may get lost, because Goines has many characters doing all sorts of things during the story. There was a lot of hostility between the Blacks and Hispanics from the outset, and it escalated as the story moved forward. All in all, another piece by Goines which is off the hook.
