Rating: 3 stars
Summary: "Girls" is a mixed bag
Review: While the discription of the beautiful scenery and the wonderful characterizations of some of the main characters (The Dog, Rosalie Piri, and Fanny come to mind), I was left feeling cold. There's something missing. The plot is, yes, a bit unbelieveable.

One thing is made clear by this books, though. Busch can write. He writes well, and the setting is perfectly described. The weak points in this book, are, unfortunately very important ones. The plot, and the main character are rushed through.

"Girls" I would reccommend as a study in writing, not as a particularly entertaining.
