Rating: Summary: Brutal (My enjoyment level, that is) Review: After reading the cover, I was very intrigued. First, if you are expecting this book to be scary or suspenseful, you will be greatly disappointed. The writing is so repetitive that I was relieved when I finally approached the final page. This is one those types of books that reads like a soap opera. You can skim through several pages without missing anything. The ending is so far fetched that I could only come to the conclusion that Mr. Morgan wrote this book under a very tight deadline. If you want to read a brilliantly written suspense novel, I would suggest "Black for Remembrance" by Carlene Thompson.
Rating: Summary: Good book...but Review: I liked this book and it kept me reading far into the night. Sydney was a mother trying hard not to let the horrors of her past control the way she treated her daughter. Marshall was a bit of a lost soul trying to find his place in life. OK the fact that he was sleeping with three different women (none of them Sydney) was rather high on the ick factor scale. The problem? My copy was so poorly edited it was actually distracting. Spelling wrong, extra words, wrong words. I kept re-reading to get the point. Actually I think somebody must have slept through the editing for this one!

Rating: Summary: Great Read! Review: I thoroughly enjoyed The Other Twin by Hunter Morgan. It kept me hooked and on the edge of my seat. It's the kind of book that makes you keep looking over your shoulder to make sure no one is following you. I can't wait for another book from this author.
Rating: Summary: Scary and Exciting. Review: I thought that The Other Twin by Hunter Morgan was an excellent read. I found the story to be one I could not put down until I finished the last page. I especially liked the FBI agents. They were fresh and interesting. Above all, I could identify with a mother trying to protect her child against a monster. The ending did not disappoint. This book will give you chills, but the plot is fantastic. I cheered at the end.
Rating: Summary: The other twin by Hunter Morgan Review: I throughly enjoyed this book. It took me less than a day to finish it. I thought the plot for the story was great. I really like Sydney's character, although the love interest could of been left out of the story line. It was suspensful enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. Maybe a little predictable, but still ejoyable none the less.
Rating: Summary: Nice beach read Review: In 1974 Newark, the twin sisters wait in the car for their father to leave the bar to drive them home, but he is to busy getting intoxicated. Charles Eshley snatches one of the girls, eventually raping and killing Marla. Though he is the obvious suspect in other murders of one sibling of twins, no evidence exists to prove it. In the Marla murder, the surviving sister Sydney had seen him and testifies at his trial that he abducted her sibling. Her testimony convicts Charles to a life sentence. Almost three decades later, Sydney, a divorced mother raising a teen, learns that a twin has been snatched. She also finds out that Charles has been paroled as a model prisoner with a heart ailment. She believes Charles took the child. When a second abduction occurs, she turns to the author of a book on the snatching of Marla and other twins, Marshall King for help. As she and Marshall fall in love, the danger for Sydney and her daughter mounts, but almost no one believes she or her daughter are in danger from an ailing old man. Like many recent novels the plot focuses on twins as its prime device (to the point of twins baby boom). Though overused, Hunter Morgan keeps his tale fresh and engaging, as Sydney seems alone in her effort to keep her daughter safe. Though the final twist is reminiscent of a Dean Koontz novel (this geezerette cannot recall the title), the audience will enjoy this engaging romantic suspense thriller. Harriet Klausner

Rating: Summary: Thrilling Suspense! Review: THE OTHER TWIN by colorful writer Hunter Morgan is a thrilling suspense story that had me glued to my cozy spot all evening long. In THE OTHER TWIN twenty years has since passed, a serial killer who preyed on twins kidnapped Sydney and her sister. The killer let Sydney go, but her sister wasn't as lucky. Now, the killer is back and he wants to finish what he had started so long ago. Terrific story! A not to be missed novel to be sure! (Highly Recommended!)
Rating: Summary: Scary and Exciting. Review: THE THE OTHER TWIN is guaranteed to give you chills up and down your spine. Hunter Morgan has done a clever job of portraying the terror one woman has when she finds out the serial killer that murdered her twin sister is now out on the streets again after 20 years. Just when Syd feels she's gotten her life together, despite her divorce, and raising a teenage daughter, she doesn't need the feeling of terror in her life again. The thing that shakes Sydney up is that since Eshey's release young children related to the previous murders have gone missing. Dare she get in touch with the man who wrote the "Twin Murders" true crime book to find out the facts her mother would never tell her? THE OTHER TWIN a well-written book that keeps your attention as all the people and facts fall into place. Before long Sydney is going to go head to head with a cunning killer, so hold onto your hats and fasten your seat belts for a bumpy ride. This book is very gripping and at times horrific since it deals with murdering young children, but Ms. Hunter does such a fine job with her characters and story line you can't put the book down once you start it. There are a lot of twists and turns in this story and just when you think you might know what's going to happen, you are off in another direction. If you like mysteries and edge of your seat thrills, you will be up late at night with all the lights on finishing this book. Better yet, read it during the daylight hours. Don't miss it! I'm hooked on Hunter Morgan. Suzanne Coleburn, Reader To Reader Reviews
