Rating: Summary: Been there - Done that Review: As a former Legislator, I can state with authority that these allegedly fictional characters ring true. Every bit of action in this swift murder mystery either has happened, or certainly could. It's a fast-paced, fun read, and I recommend it to anyone with a fascination for power, sex, intrigue, or the intoxicating combination of same.

Rating: Summary: Great Read! Review: It's a mystery, it's a romance, it's Texas politics, it's a thriller, and it's fabulous! Hill Kemps' Capitol Offense is a book that I couldn't put down until I finished. If you enjoy reading, but don't have alot of time to read, the 228 pages are divided into 77 chapters, making it perfect to pick up and put down - if you can stand the mystery of it all!
Like just about every good fiction read, Capitol Offense takes the reader down a completely different path from what you might think on the last couple of pages. I'm hoping Kemp has another book soon!
Rating: Summary: Fiction? Review: Kemp's book is timely and a bit scary to think it was being written before Enron went down. It is obvious that Hill knows the inside and outside of Capitol Hill in Austin and probably has some insight on how business is done on Pennsylvania avenue today. This was an intriguing read that moved on very quickly.
Rating: Summary: Capitol Offense Review: Once you start Hill Kemp's book Capitol Offense you can't put it down. It's an intriguing story about Texas Politics. It abounds with scandals, power, betrayals and much more. It has a large cast of characters, both good and bad. Looking forward to Hill Kemps's next book!
