Summary: Awful
Review: This book was absolutly horrible. What a waste of my time. I could not relate in any way to the characters. The book was a disappointment.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This is Anne Stuart at her finest. Not sure why some readers would think this is too graphic. It's a great read and a great story -- a far cry from the dribbling trash that Shannon McKenna writes. Can't wait for Anne's next book!

Summary: ZERO STARS
Review: This was one silly and ridiculous book. I'm puzzled by the statements from readers claiming this to be her best book. I've enjoyed quite a few of Stuart's books, Night Fall and Shadow Lover to name a few but INTO THE FIRE was contemporary reader's nightmare. First of all, the heroine is TSTL= too stupid to live and Dillon was a so-so bad boy. I've read better. Many have argued that the heroine in this book is a basket case, go figure.
I thought ALOT of her actions were rather stupid. Driving to find Dillon who she SUSPECTS of murder, driving 1000+ miles in a car that could barely get to her to WORK. She gets there and then decides to LEAVE. Situation changes and she is forced to become a DETECTIVE (yes, there's a mystery in here, too). I love Anne Stuart. I want to read those gothics so I hope this book does well for her. Would I read her again? Sure. I personally thought this book was not her best effort. If your new to Anne Stuart, she does the BEST bad boys around but avoid this book or should I say, after reading this book and you find yourself disappointed, read some of her earlier suspense books like RITUAL SINS or NIGHT FALL. This book gets ZERO STARS from me.

Summary: Wow!
Review: This writer is stunning in her gutsy, no holds bar writing, bloody brilliant! Often I read a book, and once I put it down, the words fade into the mist. Moonrise, I read about 7 years ago and it's as vivid today in my mind as when I finished. Into the Fire, will be as vivid 7 years from now as it is today.

Stunning!

Summary: My 2-cents.
Review: Well, there certainly are some mixed reviews on this one! I liked it. It has a lot of tension, both sexual and plot-wise, and the "bad boys" are (or were) REALLY bad boys! Dillon seems to have gotten his act together over the years, although he is very gruff. I do not agree with some readers that Dillon rapes Jamie. It was NOT rape! He would have stopped at any point he thought she was really unwilling. Nate was the big question throughout the book, and I will not give it away. This is a "dark" romance novel. Don't expect fluff. You won't find it here.

Summary: Sexy, dangerous, unforgettable....
Review: When Anne Stuart has a new book out, I RUN to get it, the same way the last generation of readers ran to buy books by Mary Stewart, Victoria Holt or Phyllis Whitney.

But Stuart brings her own unique, contemporary, sharp edge to her thrilling romantic suspense novels and this one is no exception. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to be swept away by unforgettable characters, a twisty plot and a tale brilliantly told.
