Rating: Summary: A great slab 'o inner city pulp Review: Donald Goines is an american treasure for tellin' it like it is. Forget H. Rap Brown - read Goines for a brutal slice of black, urban reality. Also recommended are "White Man's Justice, Black Man's Grief" and "Daddy Cool." Dig yourself, babeeeeey!

Rating: Summary: Ghetto Realism at it's Best Review: I loved this book by Donald Goines. If you like to read a good story with great characters, then this is the one for you. This book is the last in the series about Kenyatta and his crew who tries to take down da "man" - the dope pushers that push "junk". It is a good story that i loved and with the street knowledge that he pushes through his characters keep readers coming back for more.

Rating: Summary: THE BIG HIT Review: This has to be the ultimate ending of a great series.Kenyatta is going for it all as he tries to take down "The Man" the top of all drug trafficing. In his quest Kenyatta makes the biggest mistake ever, something that he didn't do in any of the previous books he acyually underestimates the power of The Man. With Frank Sinatra playing at the M.G.M in Vegas and attracting large crowds Kenyatta thinks that the hit will be a bitter sweet one. When Kenyatta and his goons tried to ambush the hotel they were caught by surprise and the element of surprise can lead to a K.O. punch in this case a K.O. punch is equal to a bullet in the head. The only survivor was Elliot Stone and even though The Man got shot he still escaped the raid. When he took off in his helicopter and looked down at Elliot Stone and smiled it was like saying I beat you as if this was a football or basketball game. When Benson and Ryan caught up with Kenyatta, they realized that the person or persons that they were really after had vanished.Yet another classic from mr Donald Goines!!!!!!

Rating: Summary: The supreme ending... Review: This is the last of the Kenyatta series, and it goes out with a bang. The book keeps Kenyatta, Betty, Ryan and Benson, and other familiar characters at the forefront, but brings many new ones to the scene as well and does a great job of giving us plenty of them. Like all of his stories, Goines has a way of detailing certain things that others wish they could possess, but don't. He also did something which is pretty tough to do when someone writes sequels or a series, and that is, this book, in my opinion, is the best of the four.
