Unleashed: A Melanie Travis Mystery

Review: This novels continues Melanie's adventures in the dog show world. Her poodle is pregnant, her fiance's ex-wife seems to be here to stay, and worse yet, Sheila is starting a Enquirer style magazine about the dog world with Sam's least favourite ex-friend. Too many exes and they soon get exed out. Sam wants Melanie to find out who did it. There are alot of twists and turns, but with the help of Aunt Peg and little from Sam, the mystery is solved. This novel is very entertaining and a really quick read.

Summary: Very Enjoyable
Review: With each book, Laurien Berenson gets better and better. I thoroughly enjoyed her latest book, Unleashed. Her mysteries are good, but I really think I read her books for the extreme enjoyment I get from her descriptions of life with her son and Faith, the poodle. The behind scenes look at what goes on and into a dog show are fascinating. Though I didn't exactly like the ending of Unleashed (as those of you who have already read it will know what I mean), I am looking forward to her next book and hearing what life is going to be like with a 6 year old, a 2 year old poodle and 6 poodle puppies. If you love dogs, don't pass this wonderful author by.
