Summary: Good Mystery but...
Review: Christopher Darden and is co-writer have writeen a good mystery here. I kept thinking I had it figured out, and then something would change and it would be back to square one again.

The writing was very well done and the book flowed smoothly. The only thing that disappointed me was that the characters and the story seemed a bit contrived. Some of it just wasn't believeable to me.

Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to read it, but I also would consider it a good "airplane" or "travel" book.

Summary: Such a thriller!
Review: Christopher Darden brings his experience to a great character and a thrilling story!

Summary: Loved it!
Review: Darden & Lochte have created wonderful characters in Nikki Hill and her cop buddies. I hope to see them show up again very soon!

Summary: the trials of nikki hill
Review: From beginning to end, this book captures the reader and doesn't let go. Just when you think you have the book figured out, darden and lochte throw another curveball and send you down another path.

The characters are all well defined and none are above suspicion, until the gripping conclusion, which leaves you wanting more from the authors in future endeavors.

Summary: A Must Read
Review: I have to agree with some of the other reviews...a great book with great characters. It did take a little too long to develop the story, but it still worked. The ending was a good twist, but still left something to be desired. A little more work should have been put in the ending.

Summary: Very interesting, couldn't put it down
Review: I was leery when I saw this book, thinking that Chris Darden was just trying to take advantage of his reputation from the OJ case. I purchased the book anyway and was pleasantly surprised to find it very interesting. I found it hard to put the book down until I finished it. Hope to see more books by these authors. In addition to being very interesting, it didn't have any gratuatous sex and violence.

Summary: Fast paced and entertaining
Review: I was pleasantly surprised by this book. Nikki Hill is a very engaging heroine. The book held my interest until the end. I hope to see more of this character in the future.

Summary: Chris Darden pulls it all together
Review: I was pleasantly surprised to find that Chris Darden gave us a very positive and successful female character in Nicole Hill. Although Darden could certainly rely on his life's experiences to pull this off, he manages to really spin a great story. Nikki Hill is full of intrigue and suspense, yet it is also very human. I hope Mr. Darden will allow us to see more of Niiki Hill in the future. This woman is destined for more than just 1 novel.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Should be the first of a new series!
Review: I was surprised that this mystery-thriller was so well written. Nikki Hill has great promise as a continuing character, as do several others in the story. Interesting plot and the DA office setting could even be expanded.

I'd like to know how much was written by Darden & how much by Lochte.
