Summary: The Sky is Falling
Review: As an ardent Sheldon fan, I pounced upon this book the moment is came out. And, woe is me, as I was incredibly disappointed! It took a mere 2 hours to read and I found the characters to be disjointed with far too many "sub-plots" along the way. I never really "cared" about one single character in this book. Characters that had minimal roles at the beginning of the story were brought in at the end to "neatly tie up the plot." In the past, Sheldon has always managed unique plot twists that urge you to turn the pages rapidly, finish the book in one sitting and then sit back regretfully when you must close the cover. Not this time!! Has Sheldon lost the touch??? Avoid at all costs - and hope the next one is back to his old self.

Review: If some of you haven't noticed, this book's characters comes from his other book "The Best Laid Plans." You don't need to read that book to know who the characters are, but it helps because it will give you more background information. Anyhow, I thought the plot was interesting, and no doubt a page-turner (especially since I finished it the same day I bought it) however I'm sorry to say that this book was not all that great compared to his other books. In my opinion, it seems like he's losing his touch. I can't exactly figure out what it is, but the book seems to be missing something.. and I guess I didn't get the "fullfilment" at the end that I usually get when reading his books. Anyhow, Sidney Sheldon is one of my favorite authors, so if this is the first book you've read from him, check out his other books, they're awesome! =)

Review: I cannot believe Sidney Shelton wrote this book. I waited in anticipation for this book and was sorely disappointed. I think this is the worst book I have ever read by him.

Summary: Great book although lacking in detail...
Review: As always, I loved reading Sidney Sheldons book. I have been hooked to his books since I was 15 years old. Mr.Sheldon writes great stories with lots of twists. 'The Sands of Time', 'Master of the Game'. Those were my favorites. 'The Sky is Falling' is a very good book and will hook the reader from start to finish, no doubt, however I just wish there was more detail to Dana Evans and other characters. However, its a great book and I hope Mr.Sheldon keeps on writing for a long time!!!

Review: I am an avid book reader and a fan of Sidney Sheldon, but this has been the most difficult book to read. It just did not keep my interest. I must say this has been one of the least favorite of his books that I have ever read.

Summary: Very poor
Review: I have always enjoyed Sidney Sheldon novels. His stlye of writing is unique to him alone. When I was reading, The Sky is Falling, I kept thinking that Mr. Sheldon must have had someone else write this book for him. The story is predictable and the characters are one dimensional. It almost reads as a diary for the character Dana Evans. I would definitly wait for the paperback!

Review: Sidney Sheldon has done it again! I am truly a Sidney Sheldon fan. I have read all of his books. Although not as great as his earlier books (Master of the Game, The Other Side of Midnight), it kept you is suspense and was fast reading. I finished it in a day.

Summary: Unless the Sky is Falling ... Read this Book
Review: When we first meet Dana Evans, she was reporting in war torn Sarajevo, now she is back home in Washington D.C., with an adopted boy Kemal and a new love Jeff.Suddenly Dana's life is turned upsidedown when Gary Winthrop is murdered. As Dana investigates she learns that Gary's father Taylor Winthrop was not not as perfect aseveryone believed himto be. In fact Taylor's greed may have lead to every member of his family "accidents".Now as Dana search takes her from one country to the next, she must fight for her life and that of the people she loves. Howeve, who can Dana trust and what is it they are afraid of will surprise you. Sidney Sheldon once again proves why he is labeled the "Master of Suspense".Dana is someone you will can cheer for and also feel her pain and depesration.Quick note Dana was first introduced in a previous novel called The Bet Laid Plans. You may want to read about her war experinces first.

Summary: Don't Bother
Review: I can't believe that Sidney Sheldon wrote this novel. I have read all of his novels, and enjoyed them, but I found myself skimming this one after I was only halfway done. The dialogue between the characters was lame and unbelievable. The story was choppy and didn't flow at all. I was thankful I borrowed this book from the library!I found it very disappointing.

Summary: Always thr great storyteller
Review: TV journalist Dana Evans looks forward to returning to the DC beat after a harrowing time spent reporting on the atrocities in Sarajevo. Accompanying her back to the States is her newly adopted adolescent son Kemal whose family died during the war in Serbia. Dana knows Kemal psychologically suffers from the horrors of his recent life and feels she must spend quality time with him.

Upon her return, Dana interviews charismatic senatorial candidate Gary Winthrop, but the next day he is found murdered. Dana quickly realizes that he is the fifth member of the wealthy Winthrop scion to die in the last year. Unable to resist such a powerful story of either a vendetta or a conspiracy, Kate begins to investigate. The story takes her around the world leaving her no time for Kemal. As she learns the source of the Winthrop millions, the killers targets Kate and Kemal as future victims.

Best-selling author Sidney Sheldon has another numero uno novel with the exciting THE SKY IS FALLING. The story line never slows down for the audience to catch its breath as Mr. Sheldon sends his heroine careening down one dangerous event after another as Kate travels throughout Europe. The audience will need to believe that in this era of the Internet and cable TV, Kate is the only individual who sees a link between the Winthrop murders. That aside, the plot retains all the tension and excitement that has made Mr. Sheldon a master of entertainment as proven by his being the only person to win an Oscar, a Tony, an Edgar, and a zillion writing awards.
