Rating: Summary: In a League of Her Own! Review: This is the first book I have read of Victoria Taylor Murray's series, but I'm immediately entranced with her extraordinary ability to entertain the reader, while revving up both suspense and romance, and her sense of humor. Even the heroine's name Nouri St. Charles Sommers had me expecting a spoof on "The Thin Man" series based on the 1930's murder mystery movies featuring Private Investigator Nick Charles, wife Nora, and their dog Astra. Instead, Victoria marches to her own drummer with captivating intrigue. Not a false pen stroke! The day will come when she will challenge Nora Roberts in popularity. And now I am going to have to read the first two books in the series so I can find out what happened before "Friendly Enemies" took place, and look forward to the next one.
Rating: Summary: Romance with a twist! Review: Friendly Enemies by Victoria Taylor Murray is a romance novel with a twist. I had such a good time following Nouri and Gabe from page to page. I look forward to the final book of the Lambert series with much eagerness! If romance with a twist is your bag then this is one book you won't want to miss!
Rating: Summary: Nouri And Company Just Keep Getting Better And Better!!! Review: This book has been by far my favorite. I was so excited when it finally came in the mail that I put the book that I was in the middle of down, turned off the T.V., forget about my classwork that had to be done, laundry that had to be folded, and sat down for a nice relaxing read! I have read all three books so far "Forbidden" drew me in, and "Friendly Enemies" hooked me! I will be so sorry to see the end of this series come. This story picked up right where "Forbidden" left off and concentrated mainly on Gabe and Nouri and their growing relationship (I was thrilled about this) and the different aspects of the mystery of the murders on Lambert, and the threats against Nouri coming together. The gang is all here Charles, Clint, Genna, Steven, Mai Li, and so on. If you have been reading this series you really don't want to miss this book. I must say Kudos to Ms. Murray, she has now become an author that I will buy just because her name is on the cover! Thanks for such an entertaining few hours away from lifes normal doings!
Rating: Summary: Just ordered the final book in this series! Review: After reading FRIENDLY ENEMIES, I quickly ordered my copy of the final book in this series. I love it! I can hardly wait to get my hands on it. I am dying to know if Nouri and Gabe wind up together. The suspense is killing me!
Rating: Summary: From page to page... Review: From page to page I enjoyed following the lead character as her one week from hell continues to play out. What a nice job this writer did blending one book into the next. I can hardly wait to read book 4!
Rating: Summary: A book that was definately worth the wait! Review: I really enjoyed this book. So far, (altho I enjoyed the two books before this one) I think this one is my favorite. I love the chemistry between the herione and the homicide detective. Just order the last book in the Lambert series and look forward to seeing how it all plays out. Great job by this growing talent!
Rating: Summary: Captivating and steamy Review: A great read and a different type of Romance novel! Sizzling and erotic. (This old sailor discovered a page-turning mystery weaving through romance, steaming sex, and thrilling action. What more could a man of the sea want! I really enjoyed it.) Follow the confused heroine Nouri's travails as she fights her emotions to discover her true self among the men she loves. Taylor Murray is catapulting upward in the romance-thriller genre. If you like Danielle Steele and Nora Roberts, you'll love Victoria Taylor Murray. Don't miss an opportunity to read her. Take a bow, Victoria. I, for one, look forward to seeing more of you. Rating: Summary: Not just another romantic romp through paradise! Review: I am enjoying the hell out of Ms. Murray's Lambert series! I think this woman definately has some talent for writing romantic suspense. Her plot is like none I have ever read before and her characters are full of spunk and colorful. Not a boring character in the series. The reader quickly is drawn into the storyline and stays there until every page has been read. I just ordered the last book in the series and look forward to receiving it. I for one, hope this new wrditer has more books in store for sometime in the near future. I like her stories a lot.
Rating: Summary: And the beat goes on... Review: Murray keeps on keeping on with her four book Lambert series. whether she is including oldie's song lyrics or steamy sex scenes, she has a gift for writing a series...the retelling is not laborious and the characters keep your interest in their struggles and triumphs. Two thumbs way up! And the beat goes on...
Rating: Summary: A book that was definately worth the wait! Review: I have been following this soap opera from the first book and the series just keeps getting hottier and hottier. I can hardly wait for the final book to arrive. My curiosity is getting the better of me. Will Nouri and Gabe wind up together or will something else happen to seperate them again? I love the characters in the story and I love the way this writer leaves the reader begging for MORE!
