Review: I love the Pamplemouse books. They are kind of like Inspector Clouseau meets Julia Childs. Not only will you be greatly entertained, you will learn more than you thought possible about the subleties of French cuisine. Michael Bond has oviously spent an enormous amount of time in France, and he lampoons the French in a way that only an Englishman can - and makes you hungry along the way.
