Summary: GREAT, BUT IT'S NOT HEGGAN'S BEST!
Review: "Trust No One" brought out another side of writing in Christiane Heggan. This novel dealt with terrorism. A old man in a hospital is killed. A powerful policitican is murdered. An innocent woman was killed in a bombing eight years ago. You're thinking, how do all these events die together? Well, they do, in a very interesting way. Julia Bradshaw, the policitians widow, and Steve Reyes, a news reporter, who lost his girlfriend in the bombing, must come together and solve this puzzling mystery! "Trust No One" is well worth the money!

Summary: Not her best
Review: Christiane Heggan's latest novel left me a little disappointed, with more questions than answers.

When Julia Bradshaw's ex-husband is found murdered all eyes are turned to Julia. Even though Julia hated her ex-husband, she didn't kill him. Trying to clear her name, Julia is introduced to a frail old man with a failing memory who makes a comment about an Irish Liberation group. This brings the attention of Steve Reyes, an ex-reporter whose girlfriend was killed by this same group eight years earlier. The same girlfriend who was also Julia's ex-sister-in-law.

Steve comes to stay with Julia at her Bed and Breakfast and the two go about trying to solve Paul Bradshaw's murder together. In the meantime, the two fall in love but keeping secrets from eachother.

Although this could have been a good book, I found that there were too many unanswered questions. Characters were introduced, but never explained. This isn't Christiane Heggan's style. I'd much rather recommend Suspicion or Deception

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: a tense, suspenseful read that will keep you on your toes.
Review: Heggan's books are alway suspenseful. But this one was beyond that. Intense and a real delight to read. I love her writing. She is one of the best in the genre.

Review: I really enjoyed this one. Will continue to read her books

Summary: This is definitely a page turner
Review: I really like this book, I couldn't figure out who was the actual [bad guy] until the end. I like this book because it was different from the outcome. I try to figure out who the murderer really is and this book kept me guessing until the end. I like the little romantic interlude, which didn't take from the characters. I also like how the picture was painted, you could feel the love she had for Frank, it felt as though she was truly shocked when she found it was he who really killed her brother. I felt she could have done more with Gleic Eire, make them appear ruthless, this only talked about past bombings and the one murder of Eli Seavers. They didn't appear as though they were a real terrorist group more like the four stooges, especially when McDermott hired his cousin to find the tape and actually botch the job. But all in all I like the book.

Summary: A book you won't put down.
Review: Ms. Heggan does a masterful job in weaving a multi-faceted suspense with a realistic romance. Her characters both good and evil jump off the pages and into your consciousness. Ms. Heggan has again captured the same fast paced style as with Deception and Suspicion.

This book is a wonderful read. Don't miss it!!!

Summary: A taut, spine-tingling romantic suspense. Don't miss it!
Review: Ms. Heggan proves once again that she is the master of romantic suspense. TRUST NO ONE captivates from page one and never lets go of the reader. The plot has enough twists and turns to keep the avid mystery buff happy and a wonderful romantic relationship between the hero and heroine. This book is a must read for anyone who loves their suspense on edge. Kudos to Ms. Heggan!

Summary: Suspense or romance? Not the best read...
Review: This book was difficult to get through. The writing is adequate, the plot okay, but I really do not like my mysteries reading too much like a romance novel. I also prefer to have my characters well-drawn out, and I did not feel that Heggan did a good job at this. I picked this book up at the library, but I don't think I will be reading any more of this particular author's work. I don't have the time to waste. To be fair to the author, there are many readers out there who would enjoy this book because it does not make any demands on the reader. It is light suspense reading, and for some people that is all they want. If you are reading for enjoyment and entertainment, and you like romance and suspense together in your mysteries without a lot of depth, then this book and this author are for you. Summary: Good.
Review: Trust No One is another Heggan book that deserves reccomendation based on romantic entertainment rather than suspenseful mystery. The political and terroristic theme that is entwined in the murder plot is immediately introduced in a somewhat unbelievable scenerio and then fuels the continuing theme. However, it is this same theme that brings together the two main characters in an intense, caring and romantic relationship. The two work together throughout the story to try and solve the murder. Much is explained regarding past and present emotions the main characters have in relation with each other and the other characters in the story. This gives the reader good insight as to how all are involved in the murder mystery. All of this however, leads to a most disappointing ending. Just as everything was coming together and well explained and understood, the ending, although having its intense moments, was unfulfilling. I wouldn't let the lst 2 chapters dissuade me from reccomending this book.
