Rating: Summary: The best book I've read this year! Review: I have to be honest here...this is the best book I've read this year, and I've read a ton of them. One thing: this one bears several similarities to a recent Hollywood thriller that came out a couple of months ago, so the ending was a little familiar. However, since I know it takes a long time to write a novel, I have no doubt that Mr. Dekker was working on this even before that movie came out. Still, this is a major thriller, and I have to say that it remains tense throughout. It's very easy to see this one as a possible movie someday, and you can tell Ted's really coming into his own with his voice as a thriller writer. I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: Finally a Christian author I reaaly enjoy Review: This book was exciting, suspecful, thought provoking and encouraging. I have recomended this book to all my friends and I think you should pick it up too.
Rating: Summary: Riddle Me This ... Review: Ted Dekker is a phenomenal writer in every aspect and has quickly become my favorite author. THR3E is Ted Dekker's seventh novel and another jewel in his treasure chest of bestsellers. I find Ted Dekker to be a very observant world traveler, who has the unique ability to traverse this world and view the journey through a very unique set of eyes. Through his vision, we are able to see the world in a more profound and sacred way. Through the darkness, we find light. Through hate, we find love. Through death, we find life. Sometimes, those who are closest to the truth, lose sight of what they see; and it takes someone who has been uprooted from the soil and cast into the darkness to shine that light upon us. This is the gift of Ted Dekker. Rather than have this be a singular review of this one novel, I would like to make this review a summation of all of Ted Dekker's novels. Buy them and read them all. You will be touched beyond imagination. Joy and laughter, sorrow and tears will both intermingle within your soul; and your heart's door will be opened by the love and light that Ted Dekker delivers through his writing. He truly has a gifted pen, and all of his novels are superb examples of God's glorious grace. Dekker's hand has penned some of the most adrenaline-packed stories imaginable. His characters are extraordinarily unforgettable and the twists and turns will keep you guessing until the very end. If you are looking for pristine examples of the neverending battle between good and evil, you will find them in each of Ted Dekker's novels.
Rating: Summary: A "Sixth Sense" type novel Review: Ted Dekker is easily one of the best new authors today. I was drawn into this story from page one and held captive by each page until the nail biting ending. I was reminded of the movie "The Sixth Sense" by it's ending. Now I'm going to have to go back and read it again after having discovered the twist. I would, and have, recommended this book to my family and friends.
Rating: Summary: Thr3e Review: This book was truely one of the best books I have ever read. The author grabbed my attention from the first word all the way to the end. I have read enough books that I can usually guess where the author is going, but this book was a complete suprise. If you like psycological thrillers, you will love Thr3e.
Rating: Summary: a phenomenal thriller Review: I'll be honest - I was one of the lucky ones who got an advance copy of Ted Dekker's newest novel, Thr3e. It was a phenomenal piece. Even without the complex twists and turns it would be a crime novel that would put bigger names (in top ten reviews and such) in the penalty box for the rest of the period. Seriously. It grabbed me with the first paragraph, and I kept my clutches on the pages of this novel until I'd re-read the closing scenes at least twice. And then my wife had to force me to get some sleep - at gunpoint. It is a rare thing for a story to compel the reader with both convincing characters and a mind-buzzing pace. Thr3e does it without breaking a sweat. The reading was so intense and yet so natural that I had a rare moment of disappointment - the prospect of having to find another novel that approached the bar-level of Thr3e. If you buy books, buy this one....And you can kiss sleep and leisure goodbye until you close the book. A novel that keeps fiction where it belongs - with King, Grisham, Kellerman, and all the other blockbusters.

A fast paced, full of action, novel that keeps you reading...you can't put in down. Just imagine that you got a call and had three minutes to live or die! What would you do? Find out what Kevin, th book's main character, did. You won't be sorry you did. Get this book, it's simply great. Rating: Summary: Three or 3 Review: Like a great mystery? Like lots of twists and turns just when you THINK you have it solved? Add a little bit of Christian philosophy and you get Tedd Dekkers new novel "Thr3e". What would you do if you got a call and had three minutes to live or die? Three, short minutes to think of every possible thing you have ever done that was wrong! Lots of mysteries need time to get into, not this one: you get there in just a very few pages. Fast, can't put it down, down-right good mystery. Get it!!
Rating: Summary: Keeping pace with the big guns Review: To say that this is the best Christian novel I have ever read may, I'm afraid, somehow lessen its greatness. Somehow we have come to expect less from Christian fiction than we do from secular, big publisher, mass market fiction, and to say that a book is a great "Christian novel" tends to put it in a "best of second class" light. THR3E is not second class. There is absolutely nothing about this book that precludes it from being ranked with the best and best-selling thrillers on any bookstore/drugstore/checkout shelf around. It is on par with the big boys. In fact, if you want to use this book as an outreach tool, give it to anyone who reads Greg Iles, Harlan Coben, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, or who likes the movies of M. Night Shyamalan. If they are honest with themselves, their view of "Christian" fiction will change, and they might just be moved a step or two closer to a personal relationship with God.
