Rating: Summary: Edge of your seat thriller Review: I was up until 1:30 this morning reading this book. Only 2 pages into Thr3e the action is off to a flying start and it doesn't stop until the very end. There are no lulls or boring parts. I guarantee you will be second guessing yourself until the last second. I'd tell you more, but you will just have to find out for yourself, I cant risk giving away too much info.
Rating: Summary: Unbelievably Great...... Review: I could not put the book down. No matter where I was, it was with me and every chance I had I would pick it up and read. Ted Dekker is such an unbelievable writer and if you think this book is good, try reading all three Martyr's Song series. They are just as good. I have bought all of his books and will continue to everytime a new book is released. Great Job Ted!
Rating: Summary: One of my all-time favorites Review: This book has it all: good writing, suspense, drama, great characters, and intelligent, thoughtful theological arguments. If you like to read books that are: unpredictable and make you think, then read this book. You won't be able to put it down, and you won't be disappointed. This author is a treasure, can't wait for the next book, and when will they do a movie? It's that good!

Rating: Summary: great yarn...but what about Donald Kaufman? (*spoilers?*) Review: **Potential Spoilers** I just finished "Thr3e." It was frightening, smart, and fast paced from start to finish. Definitely as good as Coben or King, but with a somewhat spritual undertone. I've read a few of the "Left Behind" series, but they got a little too preachy..."Thr3e" stears clear of the pulpit. Now, that being said, another review references similarities to a recent Hollywood movie (I think it's referring to a recent John Cusack vehicle). However, if you have seen the movie, "Adaptation," you might remember that the character Donald Kaufman (the fictional brother of screenwriter Charlie Kaufman) describes a screenplay for a movie he calls "The 3." Without going into any specifics, the ideas behind Dekker's "Thr3e" and "The 3" (if it even exists) appear to be eerily similar. Hey, just an observation!
Rating: Summary: Superb writing by Dekker Review: This has been by far the best Christian novel that I have ever read. Dekker keeps the reader glued to the book with the extensive plot and makes putting the book down even harder. Thr3e keeps on throwing curve balls when you think you've finally figured it out. This is one fast paced thriller that is a must read for everyone.
Rating: Summary: This boy's anointed! Review: Wow, Ted is a true vessel of God. His novels take you further into the Kingdom than you've possibly ever been. If only the Bible itself were written in the same way, no one would be able to put it down!
Rating: Summary: Worth more than THR3E stars! Review: For the last 30+ years of my life, I have never really given Christian fiction much of a thought. There was no interest on my end to really read these books. The "Left Behind" series changed all of that. I have found reading to be very enjoyable and now look for great Christian fiction to read. The first book I opted to read was "Thr3e" by Ted Dekker. Having never heard of him before, I did not know what to expect. But the book cover looked like it would be a good read, and it most certainly was. The book centers around Kevin Parsons, a 28 year old seminary student who has spent the last 5 years trying to put the past behind him. And just when he thinks he has, someone from that very past comes back to haunt him. But this mysterious person doesn't want Kevin to just merely relive it, he wants Kevin to confess it. But of everything from Kevin's past, he doesn't know what it is that this lunatic wants him to confess. Naturally, the fact that this madman has a bad tendency to blow things up when Kevin either can't solve his riddles or gets the cops involved doesn't really help Kevin's concentration much. There are very few places in this book where you can safely put the book down for awhile. Once you begin, the suspense will reel you in. Ted Dekker gracefully takes you for a ride that has more hills, loops, and corkscrews than the local amusement park. If you have never heard of Ted Dekker, like me, "Thr3e" is a great book to get to know him with.
