Summary: Something Different
Review: After looking at about 25 other reviews, I had to weigh in with my own two cents worth. The book is very well written, and the story line does keep the reader in suspense. However, when the 1st hints at the ending started, I began to have my doubts. I thought, no way will that be how it ends, but boy was I wrong. To get to the ending by connecting all the earlier parts just did not work for me. Early descriptions of phone calls, etc. just made the ending too unbelievable. I can generally enjoy a book even if the ending is not what I expected and often the unexpected is what makes a book, but in this case, the ending totally destroyed the story. I actually wanted to throw the book as far away as I could the moment I saw for sure where the author was going with it. I'm sorry, people, and I love Mr Dekker's other books, but I would not recommend for anyone to read this one.

Summary: Another Great Dekker Thriller
Review: This book blew me away. A storyline that is unique and a climax that throughly surprised me.

If you want to read an absorbing psychological thriller, without profanity and sex, this is definitely worth the read.

Dekker is a genius.

Summary: Great Rollicking Ride!
Review: I just finished "Thr3e", having completed "Blink" weeks earlier. I thoroughly enjoyed "Blink" but have been quite blown away by "Thr3e".

The story was innovative and engrossing with an ending that made it impossible to put down as I just had to know what the outcome was. In fact the end came as a surprise for me which is unusual for a lot of fiction, especially Christian fiction.

The most significant aspect of 'Thr3e' that grabbed me was Dekker dealt with the idea of evil and how we can be trapped in our natural evil selves, even if we are people of God. This is something rarely discussed let alone written about. We are continually confronted by 'big evil' everyday through the media, ie, acts of terrorsim, murders, etc, but evil is innate in all of our makeup.

As Kevin's mentor Dr Francis states in the book: " Evil only survives in the dark. This isn't religious either, by the way. The simplest way to deal with evil is to force it into the light of truth. Expose it's secret. Sun on the vampire. Sin thrives in the dungeon, but slap it on the table for all to see, and it withers rather quickly." How true these words are and how important for all of us to 'expose our own secret's' before they snare us and limit our full God-intended purpose.

Well done Ted. Can't wait til "Obsessed."

Summary: Twisted Goodness
Review: From start to end which is the middle of the beggining to then end of a new start. Ted Dekker has mastered this genre and taken it to a new level. Unbelievable. Encore. If only all books were this good t.v. would not exist or be extinct. It is a story of Good verses Evil twisted to make you think that there is such things as Good Evil and Evil Good. Kept me up past my bedtime. This book is incredible and I suggest to anyone who can rent a book out or buy it. Which to me thats everyone.
Three may be which you may not see.

Summary: Wow - what a fun ride!
Review: Who is Ted Dekker? I didn't even know about this author until I came across a bookstore display for "Three". I bought the book, and funny enough, finished it in 3 days.

In 400 pages, the reader is thrust into the life of Kevin, an intelligent seminary student who finds himself suddenly being stalked and terrorized by a demented maniac bent on Kevin's destruction. Kevin's life and mysterious past are masterfully unfolded as the story continues to build the suspense and gain speed. This book pretty much has it all for those who want to read a good thriller: great character development, lots of suspense-dripped action, thought-proving moments and heck, even a little romance.

I know this is being billed as a "Christian Thriller", but please don't mistake this as something like the "Left Behind" series. The writing is VASTLY better here and will have a much broader appeal to all suspense fans.

So, who is Ted Dekker? Apparently, a great story teller.

Summary: The Highlight of my summer
Review: I don't really have words that can explain how good this book is. I accidentally discovered Ted Dekker's books this summer and I have been reading them ever since. They are all exciting and the only down side is that you just can't possibly put them down once you started. I have been thinking about THR3E continuosuly and I finished it long ago. Ted Dekker's books are very THOUGHT PROVOKING with subtle "lessons" throughout the book that everyone should know.
It is an honor to write something about these books but nothing I say seems to describe how great they are. I'd like to shout it from the rooftops for everyone to read these books. They will grip you from beginning to end and take you on the adventures of the characters and inside their minds. They will stay with you long after your done and they are books that you won't forget. Read, Listen, and LEARN.

Summary: Maybe the first, but not the last Ted Dekker book I'll read!
Review: In a word, gripping. A great thriller/mystery from the first page, Dekker includes so many twists and turns to the plot, but keeps the story on track like a high-priced sports car. And you'll feel like you're in one as you race to the end of the novel as fast as possible.

I'm a huge fan of Michael Crichton, and Thr3e is every bit as good. Dekker deserves to be included in today's great fiction writers!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This one grips you even after you're done reading it!
Review: I have a confession to make: I read this entire book in ONE DAY! This has to be the most thrilling and twisting book I've ever read. From just the first few pages of this book, you're smack-dab right in the middle of this story, and just when you think you've got it figured out, you realize you don't have it figured out at all! As a previous reviewer said, there are no disappointing (or dull) moments.

Ted Dekker has his finger on the pulse of psychological thrillers with "Thr3e" so be prepared to have this one keep you up late reading it and your heart racing at every turn of the page.

Keep an eye out for Ted Dekker...he's the real deal.
