Summary: Disturbing
Review: I finished reading the book, at first barely able to put it down since starting it last evening. The main reason I chose to read it was that it was listed as a Christian novel, which is what I prefer to read. I was disappointed when I discovered there was little that made it a Christian book, other than a few religious comments by the main character- who is a seminary student- and having a priest in it.
I thought it was suspenseful and interesting in the beginning, but when certain things were revealed and hinted at, I had doubts about finishing the book. At times I felt like it was messing with my mind.
I stuck with it to the end, but wish I would have passed on reading it altogether.
I understand everyone has different tastes, so even though my opinion is less than favorable, you'll have to decide for yourself, because there are a lot of rave reviews for this book.

Summary: Kept me on the Edge of my seat!
Review: You hardly get started in Thr3e before the action hits. From the beginning to the end you speculate on the outcome, but do not realize it until the very end. Ted Dekker writes in amazing detail and has a way of holding your attention with every word. You just can't stop!

With Left Behind series still fresh in my mind, I thought that there would be obvious acts of God working within the characters, since this is a Christian based novel. To my surprise there was more in depth issues that are addressed pertaining to one's perception of life and moral issues as stated in the Bible. Ted Dekker gets you thinking about the perception of good against evil, and creates a suspenseful story that will keep you coming back for more.

I can't wait for Dekker's trilogy Black, Red and White to be released next year!

Summary: Three
Review: Three is an interesting psychological read as well as fast-paced with enough action to keep it interesting. The characters are well-rounded and, for the most part (of course) very endearing. It feels like a good mystery novel - keeps one guessing "whodunit" until the very end...but the mystery is one of the mind. I highly recommend this book to basically anyone capable of reading - I couldn't put it down.

Summary: The Worst
Review: This has to be one of the worst books I've read in 40 years.
It is incorrectly classified, and that should never be allowed.
It is listed as a "novel," but it is not; the end flaps seem
to suggest it is a "mystery," but that is so untrue, it's annoying.

The story moves along at a medium pace, which is alright in itself, but as the end is approached, the whole tone switches
to some metaphysical or sci-fi context, and the ending is
just gibberish.

It's a genuine waste of time to try this one. Details of the
first 90% of this book are meaningless, because the ending
is so off-base, and such a switch in tone, anyone interested
in that first part of the book will be disappointed in the
ending. A TV re-run is time better spent.

Summary: A gripping psychological thriller
Review: There are few books which really surprise me. This one did. I am writing this review nearly a full day after finishing it, and I still can't quite get over the way it ended. Of course I will not clue you in on how it ends, nor should you find out. This is one to experience for yourself.

The book starts with the lead character, Kevin Parsons, driving away from a day in seminary school and a discussion with his professor on human nature, sin and our ability for good an evil. Kevin receives a call on his cell phone telling him he has three minutes to solve a riddle or his car will blow up. This starts an escalating chain of events involving the FBI, local police and Kevin trying to stop a terrorist insisting on making Kevin confess his sin to the public or people will get killed. The problem is that Kevin has no idea what he is supposed to confess.

The book takes place over a period of just a few days. The action is non-stop, and the clues don't make any sense. Both a psychological thriller, one of the best I have read, and a look at the duality of human nature.

I highly recommend this book. It has a solid message and is so well written you will be shocked at the ending.

Summary: M. Night Shyamalan Needs to Make This Into a Movie!
Review: With all the spine tingling shock value of the movie "The Sixth Sense," this incredible book needs to be made into a movie by someone! Director M. Night Shyamalan, known for his love of the twist ending (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable) should snatch up the movie rights for this thing. This psychological thriller keeps you guessing until the very last page. Terrifying and enthralling. I couldn't put it down--read the entire thing in one evening... and have been raving about it ever since. Out of 5 stars, it should have 6!

Summary: Dekker Delivers Again!
Review: After I read Dekker's "Blink", I thought it couldn't be equaled! But here he's proved me wrong... "Three" is a masterpiece... This pyscological thriller is so fast paced, mind warping, and page turning, you'll not be able to put it down! It all starts with one three minute phone call telling Kevin his car's gonna blow in 3 minutes if he doesn't confess his sin.... it ends that... no dont' worry... I wouldn't tell you for the world! The ending is so boggling, you'll think YOU'RE going crazy! Enjoy this delightful page turner from Dekker that will turn into a best-seller hit! Keep these books coming Dekker...

Summary: What a Three-ler!
Review: Looking for a thriller with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat? Ted Dekker's writing gets better with each new book and that's saying alot because from Blessed Child and Heaven's Wager to Blink and Thr3e, the suspense never ends.
Pick up any Dekker title and you will not be disappointed, but Thr3e is my favorite so far. Keep 'em coming Ted!

Summary: A Real 1, 2 Thr3e Punch!
Review: THR3E

So many twists and turns, it literally had my stomach in knots! Ted Dekker does a wonderful job of thrusting the reader in to the story! A real page-turner, full of mystery and intrigue that just when you think you have it figured out, you'll start second-guessing yourself. A creative author; a great story; a book worth reading again! A real "one, two, THR3E
punch"!
