Summary: Simply spectacular
Review: Without a doubt, this is the best novel of its genre that I've ever read. I don't say that lightly at all.

Let me put it simply and save the reader some time: only once in my life have I called in sick just because I couldn't put a book down. This was the book.

Summary: Great fast paced moving book
Review: After the first few chapters I was hooked. I have no love of the military, at least from my oun personal experience, Vietnam 66- 67 season. I could not put the book down. The ending was a suprise and every thing fit togather. I have been in a lot of the places in the book which added to appeal of the book.

Summary: An action-packed military thriller...
Review: Until I saw this book I had never heard of Thomas L. Muldoon. Now, I find myself wondering when his next book is coming! This is a classic action book complete with futuristic weapons, a great plot, and a group of pissed off revenge seeking Marines. The Marines vow to avenge the torture and ultimate murder of two of their comrades, and manage to avoid capture by foreign governments as well as their own! This is a five-star book, but I took away the fifth star because of the repeated use of "GD" which was certainly excessive. Minus that, an incredible read.

Summary: Sly Thriller
Review: Yes, this book has all the action, thrills, great characters and plot twists any reader could ask for in a novel. The plot makes the reader feel complacent and then abruptly throws a wrench into any perceived notion of where it is going. But the truly marvelous parts of this book are the sly, clever observations which the author inserts as part of the narrative. Anyone who has ever spent any time in London, for instance, would recognize the paragraph in the chase through London where the author has his character "violate" a basic rule of British living---never block a Brit on his way to the pub or on his way home from work. Anyone who does finds out that the assumption that a Brit is quiet and polite is false. There are many other sly observations spread through the novel which will delight any reader. An dby the way, having traveled the route described in the chase scene, I can attest it is accurately described in book.

Summary: One Not to Miss!
Review: Execution of Honor was a hard book to put down this past weekend. There was never a dull moment and I began believing everything Tom described about the high tech Marines when I found his description of my home town highly accurate. In fact I am typing this review not a half mile from one of the telephone booths described in his adventure. If Tom is this careful in details, we can all sleep easier tonight knowing the Marines are ready and highly able to take on any of the bad guys. Cannot wait for Tom's next adventure!

Summary: An entertaining tale that keeps your attention
Review: I like a book that tells an exiting but credible story which keeps me tied to the book until it's read without burying me in techno-babble...this is such a book. I read to be entertained and found this book very entertaining...If I want to be technically educated in the impliments of war I don't read fiction.

Summary: First time reviewers have let me down
Review: While browsing through action/adventure titles EXECUTION OF HONOR came up. ...

While the premise is original the author should have handed it off to a better writer. The tale of a group of Force Recon Marines avenging the savage murders of their comrades should produce many thrills and surprises. Sadly, in the hands of Thomas Muldoon, this book generates none. The dialouge is staged and wooden, not at all real sounding. ... I never forgot the fact that I was reading a book and a poorly written one at that. ...

Muldoon's hero, Joe Craig, is brillant to a fault. He is prepared for every single cotingency that arises. This succeeds in sucking all the suspense out of the story. I never feared for the heroes safety. True some of them are killed but I never became emotionally invested in them. I didn't care. Too much telling and not enough showing.

The two stars are for a very good plot.

Summary: an awsome book to read on you free time!
Review: This book easily exceeded my expectations. I loved reading this book and could hardly put it down. This was the first book I had read about Marines and it was great, the author made you feel as if you where in the book. I would recommend this book to everbody even remotely interested!

Summary: Page turner! An orginal story!
Review: The characters and story were quite interesting and the book moved along at a good pace. However, some of the action was a little unbelievable.
Worth the read, though.

Summary: An Execution of Honor
Review: I don't usually have the time to read a book at one sitting, but this one got me. The only other fiction books which rank with this one as a "Can't Put Down" in my recent memory are "The Odessa File" and Gresham's "The Firm".
