Summary: A real page turner
Review: Couldn't put it down. I was thoroughly engrossed by the intrigue and the characters. A "good read".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A terrific, fast- paced, suspenseful, and imaginative read.
Review: For a new author C.R. Seeley is as fast-paced and suspenseful as Lisa Scottoline; not a CIA thriller like Vince Flynn, but very current with the scandal of secrecy in today's Church (which can further relate to governments, the work place, and even
families); like Patricia Cornwell's characters Catherine's are very convincing and you hope to hear about them again in further stories; and, just as suspenseful and fast paced as Mary Higgins Clark. Very imaginative and highly recommended. Seeley scores a 'right on" with her novel. I can't wait to read her next one.

Summary: Beautifully crafted - a gripping story!
Review: Full of light and shade, tensions and contrasts, imaginative, arresting, eloquent and authentic. Catherine Seeley has really hit the button here and has told this tragic story with the deftness of a professional story-teller. It is exceptionally well-written and very exciting - a superb first novel every reader can sink into and enjoy. Further work from this talented author is eagerly anticipated with confidence and excitement!!

Summary: Gripping
Review: I could not put Mea Culpa down. Tightly written, the story grips the reader from first to last. This is inspired story telling.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful
Review: Mea Culpa will keep you riveted until the very last page. The characters' lifelong friendship and devotion to one another is heartwarming and entertaining and the antagonist's demons are alarming and disturbing. When the two clash, you will not want to put the book down. Bravo!

Summary: Mea Culpa - FABULOUS!
Review: This is a wonderful story that keeps you guessing till the end. The author's attention to detail is impresive. The descriptions of character's thoughts and feelings as well as their surroundings pull you into the story to the point where you can smell the crisp air and feel exactly what the characters are feeling.

I don't read many mysterys but this was a book that wouldn't let me put it down that's how good it was!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Highly recommended!
Review: This novel is a good read and recommended as an opportunity for non-Catholics to enjoy the thinking and conversations of contemporary independent women who formerly were nuns in a convent. Humor and wry wit flow through these conversations. Also, it's an example of how secrets and silences hurt the very ones they mean to protect. Old cobwebs are cleared away to bring these secrets into the light of day. Looking forward to her next book. Hope it's out soon!
