Summary: excellent
Review: I thought this was a very good book. It was sometimes hard to keep up with all of the characters. Her books are always easy reading and I appreciate that fact that there is no foul language in them.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: SLOW with too many confusing characters!
Review: I have read better MHC books than this! The book left me flipping back and forth trying to remember who each character was. You Belong to Me was incredibly slow and predictable.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great!
Review: I really enjoyed the book. Sure, it's not a complicated book, and was a very quick read, but I still could not put it down.

It appears not to have done too well in the Amazon reviews, and is noted as not being her best. If that's the case, I can only imagine what her best must be like. I will definitely be reading more of her books.

Summary: Good fun reading for August
Review: I am a first time MHC reader. I was pleasantly surprised and entertained. The plot moved along and kept me guessing. The characters were more overviews than in depth but OK it's August and I'm on the beach getting a little light headed from the sun. Dr. Susan is rich and attractive enough to keep a reader interested in her outcome. Some foreshadowing was repeated enough to make me think, "OK when is .... going to appear at the .....?" No sex, violence or foul language is a plus. But then, I like oatmeal rather than chorizos for breakfast too.

Summary: Please, Mrs. Clark, take more time for your next novel !
Review: I'm a great fan of Mary Higgins Clark and I had read all of her novels and short stories collections. I enjoy her books so much that I order them before their french translation become available. I'm sorry to tell that "You'll belong to me" disappointed me very much. It's almost a "copycat" of Mrs. Clark's latest novels and I had found who the murederer was after two hundred pages. Nobody could tell that "You belong to me" has be written by the same author of "A cry in the night" or "All around the town", two books who are among the best suspense novels ever written. I know that Mrs. Higgins Clark has signed a very big deal with her editor and that she must write one novel a year. But I think that she should take more time to build the plot of her books and the psychology of her characters. In "You belong to me", some characters are pretty caricatural and the end is highly predictable, unfortnunately. (Don't! worry, I shall not tell you anything about that !) Mary Higgins Clark doesn't have anything to prove yet. She's known throughout the world and translated in many languages as one of the best suspense authors, if not the best. So please, Mrs. Clark, coming from a fan, don't make an industry of your inimitable talent as a storyteller and take your time to write only the books that you want. I know that you can do the very best, so take your time and give to your fans the masterworks that they expect and deserve. Anyway, I wish you the very best for your marriage and your new family. I'm, as usual, very impatient to read your next book, but please, one more time, don't disappoint your greatest fans ! Thank you !

Summary: NOT HER BEST
Review: ALTHOUGH THE PLOT WAS EXCELLENT, IT WASN'T DEVELOPED TO ITS MAXIMUM POTENTIAL. THE CHARACTERS WERE TRANSPARENT AND OBVIOUS. I WAS DISAPPOINTED.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A complete dissapointment
Review: I thought that "You Belong To Me" was absolutely void of suspense. The characters were totally one-dimensional and the ending was completely anti-climactic. I only recently started reading her books. I started with "The Cradle Will Fall" and absolutely loved it! But this latest attempt is not up to par with her earlier books. I will think twice before buying her next book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Don't waste your time reading this one!
Review: I, like many other faithful readers, was disappointed in this book. I would say Ms. Clark is getting tired. The last 3 or 4 attempts have been slow reading and very predictable. I suggest Ms. Clark read her first few books to come up with a better book next time!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent book....Greatly recommended
Review: This is my first book i have read by MHC, i loved it so much i ordered her other books also. This book kept me total suspense the whole time, It is a great thriller.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Simply awful....as were her last three books.
Review: Is it my imagination or is Ms. Clark starting to write at the third grade level? I thought The Lottery was truly silly. Then I bought this one. I will NEVER spend another $22.00 (less Amazon discount, of course) for another MHC dreck.
